train hopping vs. hitchhiking

    maybe this is the wrong forum to ask the question, but ive nevre hopped trains, how is it compared to hitchhiking, superior in winter times or worse?

    i've only ever hitched... just got finished hearing bout rambling jack elliot and woody guthrie riding the trians cross country

    trains in the winter bad idea, to think u would get more rides alround now hitchin with everyone travlin

    hikin iz much cleaner but today it takes forever to get ah ride frum duh paranoidal AMERiKKKanoz.

    Have you been to http://www.digihitch.com/ yet? That's definitely the best hitchhiking/ trainhopping/ homeless/ vagabonding forum on the net. I thelped me out a lot when I was doing that stuff.

    And oh, how I long to be on the road again...

    i've hopped train during winter...i don't suggest it.

    digihitch would have to b one of my favorite forums...before i hitchhiked for the first time it let me know that people actually still do it...it was also the first place i heard about rainbow
