The Republican Party’s anti-trans agenda has radicalized and continued to intensify. The Administration has moved from identifying transgender people as a threat to the family and to the nation’s military prowess to claiming that transgender people constitute a cosmic threat to the spiritual health of the nation and the greatest direct threat to U.S. national security in the world. Sadly, I don't think the Lemkin Institute is over-reacting. The Heritage Foundation, who are the de-facto ruling junta in the US, definitely want trans people exterminated. Not just unable to pee in public accommodations, but dead, gone. The thing is that they won't stop there. Once they have successfully exiled, imprisoned, or murdered all the trans people, then they will come for the gays and lesbians. I know one trans woman who discovered that she had a Canadian great-grandmother. Recent legislation in Canada extends citizenship to anyone who can document a direct line of descent from a Canadian citizen, regardless of where they live. My friend is disabled and cannot get around without a vehicle. She is about to lose her driver's license to this purge. She is applying for her Canadian citizenship so that she can escape. It saddens me that the people of that once-great country cannot be bothered to overthrow the most evil government in the last 80 years.
They have already started executing people for being un-documented, locking them up in former warehouses where they are treated like war prisoners. After the gays and lesbians, they will decide which groups to add to their 'hit' list: undesirable religions, races, national origin, immigrated legally from an undesirable country, unattractive, poor, special needs. They could begin DNA testing everyone and eliminating the ones without the 'secret police' genes.
