Ok so about 5-6 months ago I threw some seeds in the garden, expecting nothing out of it. The other day I was sitting outside and noticed only one green (and tall) plant in the garden, so I went to go check it out. Turns out I have a 5 foot plant growing, and had no knowledge of it. After looking at it for a while I noticed most of the top half has male leaves, while most of the bottom has female leaves. So what should I do? Is it even worth pursuing? It looks like its trying to bud, so Im not sure if I should move it into a pot. Should I clip the male leaves? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

What?Ive never known of female and male "leaves". Show me and if backed up i'll be'leave'(haha stupid joke) ive never heard of leaves being trans gender. (Hermapherdite) Ive seen male plants with 7-11 leaves per fan. We used to think if a plant had only 5 leaves a fan. it was a male. that has nothing to do with it. different strains have different no# of leaves per fan ( i don't remember what there caled not a fan of leaves. To early in mornin for this haha

out of the plants i've grown to date i've only had 2-3 true hermies (nice pic find orison).............sometimes a female will throw out a few nanners...........like the ecsd clone i've got, 'round week 3 of flower you want to check the bottom branches and pluck any male flowers you see, if any..........after that first initial picking i've never had problems with them showing back up.

i know most of you know that but just throwing it in there for the ones that don't.

thats a good picture. I found I would get alot of hermies if I went to a 12/12 indoors before i put them out. To forse budding to try to "weed" out males. I did not put my plants outdoors till mid june.It was hard to judge light to match probally? that was my idea or they would go back to vegging stage and messed them.one or other . I stopped messing with them and started at 20hr under lights indoors. then 18till they went out in mid june. I found i lost less to slugs in mid june . Maybe just kawinkie dink.

yeah that's probably what they were doing, going from forced flower back to veg and then starting flower all over again in a short period of time.........definitely enough stress to cause hermies.
