I read yesterday about John and Kelly building a home in Jumbolair, a community in Anthony Florida for people who own planes and want to park them nearby. no problem with that part, but his home looks like an airport- it's ugly from the outside and extremely overdone on the inside. I can understand a pilot wanting a small plane, but why do they need a 747 ?? He was kicked out of the community he was in before because of noise levels with his take off and landings. In a day when gas prices are climbing and with what we know about pollution, he seems awfully self indulgent. I imagine the heat and his fumes do a lot for the beautiful horse country in Florida. Kelly gushed that when he filmed his last movie, he flew his plan to and from south Florida every day so he could be at home with them. It's like they're from another planet!
I used to kinda like Travolta until he lectured on global warming urging us commoners to do what we could to reduce carbon emissions. He and his five jets produce more that 100 times the carbon emissions your average person does.
