anyone seen his new band yet? anyone hittin up his shows this week? im thinkin about it. if ya are hit me up and we'll go kick it. i got room too if anyone needs a ride. columbia SC and charlote NC.

 

Trey is hitting the dope to much now-a-daze. Not is best stuff!

 

thats what ive been thinking too, so i didnt go. ive secretely hated trey since 98

 

his first shows were rough but they'll get better....at least i hope they do! i'm hittin up the two ohio shows so they have a few more shows to get hot

 

Richmond sucked, the new deal kicked ass though. He played a few good tunes, night speaks to a woman was good, oysterhead cover, and I am the walrus were good. Didn't like much else, Mr. completely was chaos, fun show anyways. Played no Phish, and I guess thats ok cause ya know hes moving on or whatever, but hes gotta play a little phish, the encore wasnt setup too well. I would have liked to hear dirt acoustic, followed by push on til the day or another upbeat song for the encore. Overall not great, expecially that two guitars business, but I had fun anyways, and they will shape up. During one of Trey's long rambles he said something about him being on vacation and coming back and the band having to learn all the new songs in 3 days. That doesn't sound to cool. The new songs were kinda bunk too, lots of long rambling chord progressions that didn't really lead anywhere, and some of his other acoustic stuff was kinda weird, but whatever, fun show, but I'm looking forward to this summers festivities though.

Haha Im not crazy its just whats what. it wasnt a good show and thats that, doesnt mean i dont want to see trey again, but it does mean i want to hear good things before i spend money on a ticket again. I reviewed the show on here because I wanted to let people know how trey is playing and how he is doin with his new band. Apparently not well, at least yet, I dont doubt they will play better, but like I said before they learned all those songs in like 3 days while trey was on vacation or whatever so it can be expected. I'm wrote my review as a fellow musician, and that is a review from a musicians point of view. Maybe others had different opinions on that particular show, but not by what I heard from the crowd that night, or what I heard from treys music, but whatever, good vibes, and good music ya know, keep it positive, and think good thoughts for the future. well i guess i came off kinda dick....sorry.....i just thought it was pretty damn good....but you are right...it will get much better with time....

ahhahahahahahah the wave settled along time ago kid. i mustve saw phish 40 times before and 30 times after. ive seen all of treys incarnations live a few times. i still like oyster head, and mid-nineties phish. but i probably tell the day he started doin dope just by the music. maybe fall of 98 was the last time he was on consistently. naw maybe summer 98. the dudes a complete tool now.

 

I saw Trey in the middle of the summer in long sleeves and it was like 100 degrees that day. What could he have been hiding!?
