Tv shows?

I dunno if there is like a tv thread or whatever but let us talk about shows we loved and are now gone.

I miss smallville it was my happy place a time where I could pretend that there was kindness in the world n stuff.

What shows to you guys like and why?

 

I miss roseanne for some reason I never missed an episode growing up

 

Anthony Bourdain (the one on the food network not cnn)...doomsday preppers...colbert report and daily show...lock up (sometimes-it gets annoying though).. (and i dont really care what anyone has to say about this next one because i love it, so there..) survivor

 

OZ! It's my favourite tv show by far, and I'm so glad you posted this thread as it reminded me of how much I want to watch it again from the beginning. 24 was good too and the Wire. Loved Sons of Anarchy, bike porn

And Gilmore Girls rocked too.

Now though, most things on TV are just rubbish.

Yeah. I was going to mention that one, but couldn't remember enough about the entire series. Didn't it turn a bit naff half way through? I also didn't mention 'Eatrth: The Final Conflict' for the same reason.

 

Yeah, if I remember correctly, the show started going downhill when the lead character's brother came into the picture. Still a good show though.

 

I think as the original characters left I lost interest. I never liked Rembrandt Lee Brown so - judging by the write ups for the series - didn't watch much if any of the last series.

 

Ftr, I did like Gilmore Girls and Friends - but I watched them too often and they started to irritate me after a while. Especially Gilmore Girls. I'm sure it was more about me than the shows, though.

 

I don't remember enough about the show to remember which characters I liked or disliked. I just remember watching the show every week. lol

Also, I'm surprised nobody has mentioned FireFly. That shit was wonderful.

 

Well, it did start nearly two decades ago - and I'd have never remembered enough with out a bit of digging. I like to find out what people did afterwards, and a bit about their lives etc (sad, I know). So I probably have a slightly better recollection. I'm slightly older than you, too.

I'm sure if I just remembered from my own memories I would have had a rosier view of the show.
