Two of my friends went to the one in Brighton.... (sadly i couldnt go) However they said it was FAB! you are in for a treat

As much as id love to... i think travelling all the way to Sheffield will be veeery difficult.... and expensive.... maybe... i should hitchhike hmmmm

I don't have anyone to go with ( sigh ). Or anyone who is interested or has time at the last minute. I should be brave it + go alone maybe. But I would go as the Chrome.

LOL, PLEASE forgive, but I know this would be the last pleasant thing gigging in my life, maybe since me + friends saw ACDC + Dokken + pissed in a bottle on the back of a bus to the gig which our friend drank thinking it was cider ROTFL . NO, we were not bullies, just playful + part of the same band he spit the stuff in our faces and we laughed ha ha. Hey, we were only about 15 lol.

I would mate, but uni is in High Wycombe (near london) so its a long bloody way! anything that gets me out of this shithole of an ex-mining town is good though

 

seems like so many of the cool bands are playing in england and the UK, wish they'd come to california, i love twisted sister and alice cooper. i remember twisted sister outrageous videos on MTV back in the 80's when MTV was cool. and i got to meet alice cooper in the 70's at a draft card burning protest, was so very cool.

Oh well, just figured you could have gotten a train if you were close enough. Personally, I missed the gig lol. Not any matter, I got a new dual layer DVD re-writer today so have ben having fun .

 

well i live in a town near Brighton.... I will say no more .... shame yer couldn't find anyone to go with You gigged woth Saxon? cool! ive only heard a couple of their songs but im a-getting a couple of their albums for christmas hopefully! There was yet another look heavenwards from my parents as I asked for some Saxon.... they've been doing that a lot recently *sigh*

 

back in the 60's and 70's alice cooper was a total trip, he was one of the first to use shock type music and concerts. i'll never forget seeing that fucking snake rapped around his neck and the concert, scared the hell out of me, but it was so mezmerizing (sp). he was one of the first to use makeup to, then came KISS, twisted sister, ect in the 80's. but i love alice cooper the dude rocked!!!!

Bah, my sister went to the Sheff Arena gig, and rang me up half way through and played it down the phone to taunt me

And yea I know about all the talent that has come out of that city and the steel, but I live in Worksop which is about half an hour south. It used to be a mining town before the pit got closed, now its just full of chavs and smackheads

 

God i love Alice Cooper, Poison is the bloody greatest song.
