What does everyone think of Twitter?

I just signed up and really there aren't that many people I know who are on that site. It's pretty boring to be honest. Besides, I don't use it with my cell phone and don't really care to, so.. I don't know what went through my head. Bored I suppose.

 

i dont get twitter,,... i mean.. im on it.. i follow the celebs... and see what theyre sayin haha..

.but i jus dont get it apart from that... you cant hav a private convo or nutin.. its jus there for the world to see..

 

i've never been there. it sounds like a celebrity version of facebook, but i don't really care for celebrities.

 

mainly for attention grabbing morons that tell the world of there idiotic day to day BS life

 

it really is kind of egocentric.

ah well.

looks like I'm gonna have fun with it for like a month and then get bored of it and forget about it..

 

I know it's not very popular here, I don't really follow celebs. No point, I don't care about them.

I just use it to talk to people that aren't on RT. I can't PM them so it's easier than email.

Plus I have a badass Charizard picture as my background.

ha i was watching a video of Perez Hilton.. because he got "attcked" by an artists mangaer... and he said.. and i quote "i was so terrified i went to twitter" i was like wtf???

u went to twitter because u wer terrified???

 

Just another hype. I don't really care for it, as long as lots of people seem to have fun or have use for it I'm probably just missing the point

 

I guess some people just really like stalking other people. And some people love being stalked. But if you have a Facebook and update your status.. then I really don't see the point of going on Twitter unless you use it with your cellphone, but.. then again.. shouldn't you focus on your life, rather than other people's that much? Or.. do you really think you're that important that everyone is gonna wanna "follow" you?

lol that sounds hypocritical of me since I joined, but.. hmm yea, I was bored.

 

I've heard the Iranian people have some serious use for it though.

Well I've already explained why I'm on it but it loads MUCH quicker than FB. FB take ages to load.. Plus on FB I have my real name etc. so I'd need to make an alter and that just gets too much juggling. Twitter I don't. I don't even have the same Username.

I don't see any self importance from my end, now that .. a certain member.. is banned.

I have a Twitter account, I don't use other devices and I have about 40 followers. And I haven't tweeted in three months. Got old. I don't need people to know when I'm evacuating my bowels.

 

I follow one or two but I've never blogged and I'll never tweet.
