I bet you'd like 70s fusion. Its largely rock and jazz with many other influences. But since you mentioned ethnic, their is a fusion band with middle eastern influences in Embryo. Agitation Free's CD, Malesh is a spacey cd with middle eastern sounds. Samla mammas manna is pretty cool too. Far East Family Band, Popul Vuh, Yatha Sidhra.

But if you like fusion, I have lots more, just ask.
