Under the influence of DARE

I know i have way too many threads goin but i needed to make this one
where people can come and apologize for anything they did under the influence of D.A.R.E.i would like to apologize for preaching to people about DARE which i did too much and one time me and my friends were walking along in the wooded area of town and found some guys plants in paper cups, just starting to grow and we wrecked em. For that i am sincerely sorry.

Just tell your brother you flushed his stash cause you learned it was bad in DARE

Well i was a DARE asshole too.... believe it or not. Must of the kids on here now are DARE converts anways.

I wanna apologize for one time I caught these kids smokin a shitload of pot on the side of the school with like 4 other people... and i went and ran to the teacher and told on the big bad meanie drug abusers... and I got them expelled, have never seen them since.

But I include them in my thoughts every time I smoke

haha well i was in a private christian school so not exactly alotta talk or contact about drugs.

 

Hmm never told on anybody or preached bout it but me and my friend made an oath to never smoke marijuana cause we didnt wanna die from one hit and we both smoke now

 

I'd like to apologize for allowing myself to buy into all of the government propaganda and letting the authorities make my decisions for me. But I've since found myself and am currently stoned off my ass and looking foward to watching "My Name is Earl" at 9pm tonight, as it is one of the funniest shows on tv and I have yet to watch it stoned.

 

DARE fucking sucked........ it just taught me how to use drugs and the kind of people to get them from


i never supported it because i knew it was propaganda

 

i love happy endings.

 

Boulder got rid of there D.A.R.E program like 10 years ago (they saw though the bullshit) and spent there money on real education.

 

I never really preached or told on anyone, but I want to apologize for all the negetive thoughts I had about the stoners/dealers back in high school. If I had only known better

That's cool. You can sort of send out some positive energy, and it will find them. I read once that the Australian Aborigines (some of em anyways) saw relationships like a circle, and when you have bad relations, it breaks the circle. But even years later, you can send out your forgiveness or apology, and at least for your own soul (or karma, phrase it as you will) the circle can be closed again (since that's the best you can do, short of tracking them down. anyways you can't make them accept your apology or forgiveness).

How many of you guys wear DARE shirts regularly? I have like 4 of them, and I think they are funny as hell, especially when I am tokin'.

I had mine till freshman year of high school. I used it in art class for a smock, so I ditched it at the end of the year. I kinda wish I still had it, it'd be funny to wear.

 

speakin of which... i keep seeing more and more "hugs not drugs" and "try love not drugs" shirts.... i think im gonna goto school sporting one some time and see how many eyebrows I raise that day

 

i remember going to several DARE type things, but i was always confused at what drugs were, all they said was "they are bad, and you will look like this if you do them!!!!"

i never told anybody not to do them, maybe said something like "drugs are dumb!", but many kids say that just cause their told that their bad...but my family, especially my sister, was always telling me who not to hang out with because "they may be into drugs! they are bad kids!", of course now she has smoked a few times now, and she enjoyed it...

 

My friend has a shirt that says, "Hugs ON Drugs" haha

 

I never really bought into it, but then again I can't remember what I thought so long ago. I just know that when my friends tell me that I haven't ever smoked before till now (about 6-8 months ago), my responce is that no-one I knew had anything so I was never in a postion to do anything.

When my friend got some weed I smoked it right then and there.
But remember kids!

Drugs. Are. Really. Expensive.
