Unfriended

Don't you hate it when your friend count goes down by one, and you can't figure out who dumped you? It's especially weird when you haven't had any recent disagreements with anybody.

Oh well, if I don't notice anyone in particular missing from my list, I guess they weren't all that important to me anyway.

I can imagine that. Recently I un-friended a person by accident and didn't noticed it. Luckily the person decided to contact me -which is not an easy decision I think- and accepted my re-friend request .

Most of my ones here.seemed to have gotten banned before they had a chance to unfriend me

 

A couple of people have told me after the fact that they unfriended me and I never even noticed. I dont really pay attention to my friend list, is there even a point to it besides being able to see private albums?

 

I Think There Is A Very Valid Point, In My Case I Have Never Asked

For Friendship, Members Have Approached Me, And I Am Most

Humbled By This, And In All Cases I Have Accepted Their Request.

I Truly Appreciate Their Respect For My Posts And At All Times

I Have Held Their Posts In High Regard...

I don't understand unfriending--unless the person has been inactive or banned for a long time. Especially when a person unfriends you and you don't know why, or you thought that you two had a nice quiet friendship going on. Getting rid of a friend seems petty to me, especially here, where you don't have a "news feed" for them to pollute.

I like that you can see who of them is online.

But although I often glimpse at my online buddy list I have no clue how many forum friends are on that list so I wouldn't notice that going down at all. If I would notice I can't imagine I'd really care because a buddy list on a forum doesn't really equal friends (although I do consider a lot of my forum friends with which I communicate real friends, wether they're on my buddy list or not )

I have many private albums and sensitive photos.....cant leave them as an open book to people that pop in once a year

Are you sure you would know who it was? Like me, you have more than a hundred. It's hard to remember a hundred names. If I had to list my HF friends on a blank sheet of paper, I might be able to come up with 75.

It just feels a little weird to know that somebody might be so pissed off with me that they are done with me for life, and I have no way of knowing who or why. I don't think I've posted anything lately that might be considered highly controversial. Maybe somebody deleted all their friends and stopped using their account. That wouldn't be so bad. I hate mysteries with no answers.

Here. I don't do Facebook. I tried MySpace for a while, back when everybody else was on it.
