does anyone like Uriah Heep? I first heard them a few days ago when i bought the album: "The Magician's Birthday" from 1972. i liked the album, it's quite good.
Now it's time to check out their breakthrough release 'Demons And Wizards'. I haven't heard The Magician's Birthday for the longest time.
Uriah Heep and early - Yes , Deep Purple , Emerson Lake & Palmer were the Heavys in early 70s . and the last of the acid type music . we could throw in Alice Cooper in as well.
yes, i never heard Uriah Heep's music before i bought "The Magician's Birthday". i am very impressed by them, they are very progressive and not commerical at all. they are a very good band.
I have a question. Does anyone else consider this bands music a "religious experience"? This may be some of the greatest church music ever produced. Maybe it's their excellent use of melody and vocal harmony propelled by their distinctive heavy metal thunder that has some kind of "spirtiual" resonance. I'm I the only one who has this wonderful experience?
