I've never seen a chevy or gm grill like that before. It might be one of their Nissan imports. They don't use American product there. They buy japan and china autos. As for the emblem, I say that is a photo shop job to make it look like they buy American. Iraq has lots of American vehicles because they were free left overs from the occupation. Iraq has been occupied by American forces since 2003. Now that Iraq has told them to leave, they are saying they'll take a year to vacate their bases. I'd like to see Balad go to Russia. It's a good air base and Iraqi pilots would look real good in the new SU 35.
I can't google your arguments. You don't give them. And that's what I'm asking for: what convinced YOU. Besides that they had a lot of american vehicles. Isn't that a normal question to someone who's making such a bold claim (that you know for certain the US supports IS!)? Well, I was asking for that. It's clear none are coming. So no worries, I'll stop if that's what you want.
That's just how it appears to you. I've read his posts and if you pay attention you will notice Orison and I agree about how IS ended up with those vehicles. So just because you don't see me responding to his post doesn't mean anything.
Well, it's not a production grill, not original equipment. I think the grill was faked in that photo. When they had that scene on CNN I couldn't see the Chevy emblem. I know Iran was not allowed to import anything from America. They mostly used Nissan. I don't know what the Chinese sell them as far as trucks go, but this photo looks fake to me.
I looked at it again. That photo was taken in Baghdad Iraq, not Tehran Iran. In Iraq they do have the custom made American Chevy trucks, which are not available in Iran.
Similar but not the same. What threw me off is Chevy is not available in Iran. In fact one might get attacked or beat up for driving in an American truck. But that funeral photo was from Baghdad, not from Iran. Sorry, my mistake.
Why don't you just read things first before making your own silly comments about what you think has happened. Don't you realise that the Iranian General was killed by the US. All you are doing is argue. Read things first. Think about what has actually happened. Then discuss.
You guys do realise cars are sold all over the world, right? I actually drive a Ford Ranger and I do not live in America. And Americans drive BMW and believe it or not if you are living in America then you aren't living in Germany.
@Asmodean If something happens in your country i'd expect to see stuff from your local newspapers to educate those of us who don't have a clue. Some of us have relatives living in your country.
