The US has thrown down the gauntlet with Iran, indicating it is ready to attack the country and bring down it's military and leadership. Senator Lindsey Graham wasted no time after last Tuesday's election to say that with the newly elected conservatives in Congress are ready to enable another war, this time against Iran. Graham was in Canada speaking at an International security conference. He said that the U.S. should sink the Iranian navy, destroy its air force and deliver a decisive blow to the Revolutionary Guard. Lindsey Graham sits on the Armed Services Committee and the Homeland Security Committee, so he is a primary enabler of America's endless wars. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/11/06/lindsey-graham-calls-for-strike-on-iran_n_779997.html Meanwhile reports indicate the US has now placed three aircraft carriers, four nuclear submarines and marine assault units opposite Iranian shores. If that's not a provocation, what is? If any hostile country were to do that to the US we would go to war with them. http://www.debka.com/article/9132/ As I've said in other posts the US is going to war again, and now only Obama can stop it, but it seems he's in on the deal.
Translation... The United States (which is the only nation to use the nuclear bomb) Gets to keep its bombs and pretend to be the good guys. But Iran can't have them. I used to think that no one should have nuclear bombs. But today I think everyone should have one. It creates a situation of equality.
In theory that would make sense, but of course reality another story. It requires quite an infrastructure to create, store and maintain nuclear weapons. The expense is very high too, you could easily estimate $1 billion per bomb. So obviously it's not gonna be on everyone's shopping list this xmas.
I wonder if the US will bother to DECLARE WAR first, or whether this will be yet another undeclared war.... I think we should be on the lookout for another FALSE FLAG event so we can use it as an excuse for war against Iran.
False flag or something else. Normal people do not want war. If you ask any sane person on the street if they want to go to war. The answer will be non. So there will be many kinds of manipulations and lies and that will transforme sane people into insane patriotic blood hungry assholes. Yes, manipluation will be used...
Its already working 100%, on german massmedia I never saw one single positive image of Iran in years. No images of a happy iranian family one could identify with, nothing, its taboo.
You mustn't let people view the enemy as just ordinary people like you. No, each and every Iranian must be our enemy so when we kill those families, you have no regrets. Just as our gov't does in Afghanistan and Pakistan. For every "terrorist" they take out, they also take out their mothers, wives and children who live with them. But you NEVER EVER hear about them, except as some aggregate number (usually underestimated) of civilian "collateral damage". Whole families die from our bombs and missiles dropped by teenagers from 30,000 feet (or halfway around the world via drones) who were playing video bomb games just a couple of years ago.
Its time to get the word out that Iran is a good country and to not support any military acts against them, no matter what. Because we have provoked it.
That's pretty hard and pointless to do considering they have billions of American dollars supporting them every year. The military is so up, they don't need the people support, they just need a few people to give them the go ahead.
Yeah but one day when they do go ahead and do it, and the people are like wtf, a civil war will break out again. And i hope that day comes while im still young enough to lead the rebel alliance. For yoda is my shidoshi.
As the son of someone who's stuck over in Iraq as part of the 'war' over there, I can only pray that we won't get involved with Iran too. I think the rest of the world understands how powerful we are; we don't need to keep trying to prove that point...
And when will this civil war happen? The average commercial break is 2 and a half minutes long. That's hardly enough time for people to start, fight and resolve a civil war. Also, why would people fight a civil war? If anything an opposition towards the government would be more reasonable and beneficial.
I would fight a Civil War. If i got enough people to say they would fight i would lead one. Support against the US government is bigger than ever now, i even hear my entire family talking about how shitty it is.
Exactly my point. Do you really think that you and your rebel warriors could afford to fight the US military, who would be involved for the sake of protecting the country? The middle east can't even defend themselves against the US, you really think you and a band of dissidents can take them on?
absolutely. if 700 greeks can hold off an entire persian army i think with gorilla warfare and if enough people joined the resistance its possible. We are talking all the people who would own their own gun shops, grocery stores, pharmacys, not to mention if states would break off and fight, also if you got help from other countrys. Their money is worthless if the people dont use it
Who cares about technology. If they nuke their own country that is just proving my point that these people need to be taken out of power
