I have been using a diagram for the last while, however I have been toying with the idea of switching over to the pill. Is there anything I should know about it in advance?

I'd consider the side effects carefully. For instance, my biological grandmother died of ovarian cancer, so I won't take anything that increases the risk of that. You might want to consider looking into those things. Also, warn your lover cause the time your body takes to adjust is rather moody for many womyn.
the pill increases risk of heart attack, stroke, and certain cancers. i am 22 and i have already had 3 friends who were on the pill get breast lumps removed. idk if the lumps were caused by the pill or if it was just coincidence, but i dont want to go near any of the hormonal methods. all hormonal methods (pill, ring, patch, shot, IUD) have these side effects. if the diaphragm is not enough, consider using it with condoms and the rhythm method. NEVER use the rhythm method alone!!!
