Valium laced weed knocked me out

So, I smoked a fat ass J of some weed laced with Valium. It was pretty raw for about a half hour, and then I just layed down and my body legitimately shut itself down. I slept a solid 6 hours and woke up a new man.. I think this is a sign because I haven't been getting much sleep lately.


Has anyone had anything like this?

i think the high temperatures needed to light pot would not activate the active chemicals in valium, i could be mistaken, i'm not a chemist, but i don't think it's possible to smoke valium

I know kids who crush up valium like its coke and put it in the bowl with some green. So yes i think he can smoke it.

And lakeofffire, valium is a muscle relaxer, it makes your body feel like its moving slowly and usually makes people tired, and makes them sleep well. The experience he describes sounds to me like a textbook valium reaction.

Shortman, why would you need to heat a pill to a certain temp before it "activates" the chemicals? You may be thinking of smoking mushrooms which kills the psilocybin and will not produce any mind altering effects.

 

I have never smoked valium in a joint. Why make it harder to smoke the weed when all you have to do is swallow a tiny pill...then, smoke the joint?

It's not a muscle relaxer. It's an anti-anxiety/sedative benzodiazepine.

I've smoked blunts laced with xanax, which is also an anti-anxiety/sedative benzodiazepine, and I felt some definite effects from that.

by 25 you have a pretty damn good idea of what the world is like.. if you're still in highschool/college.. you usually don't have such a concept for the fact that you're in school.. either living off your parents or living off student loans with a part time job... a college student has more concept of the world than a highschool student.. unless everything is paid for them.. its when ya get weened and thrown into the pit called "life" where you must sustain your own life.. paying rent/morgage, paying for your own food, gas, car payments, insurance....

As for Angie_Orange here... have you ever heard of melting and freezing points of chemicals? certain chemicals have to be heated to certain temps(example.. THC is abouts 180F.. while crack is 383F) before anything is released from them.. otherwise you're just waisting whatever it is you are trying to smoke with your weed as it falls off with the ash.. why do you think people have to torch the hell out of crack? thats why smoking joints with cocaine/crack is pointless a lot of it just falls with the ash.. and is wasted

 

Have you ever heard of a PILL you had to heat before ingesting? If a lighter makes a pill smoke then u can smoke it in a bowl with some weed.

 

They mention that it is also used as a muscle relaxant, simply because of the depression of the central nervous system and the slowing of the heartrate, and it is most commonly prescribed for anxiety/sedation because the muscle relaxant properties are not very noticable, unless you take heroic amounts. Besides, wiki isn't very accurate anyway. I'm on xanax right now, so this post may not make much sense, but you get what I'm trying to say. I know I'm not the be all end all of pharmaceutical experts, but I know a little bit, and only at high dosages are benzos, especially xanax at/past the 8mg mark, would I counsider xanax to be a muscle relaxer.

Now, Soma and Flexeril are muscle relaxers and they don't do shit, unless you eat a lot of them.

i never said that you'd need to heat the pill to activate the active chemicals, i said that heating it could possibly destroy them or not activate them with the temperatures needed to activate THC, and i also said that i could be mistaken.

 

there's a difference between an active chemical and filler

just because something produces smoke doesn't mean that any active chemical is being released, just the other products that are included in a pill are burning

 

Oh, well i have trouble reading invisible words, sorry. Your comment was very confusingly stated. When you said "Those temperatures would not activate the chemicals" perhaps you should have said "those temps would make the chemicals INACTIVE".
