vaporizer = takes longer to get stoned?

Hi, i have a vaporizer ( master blaster) and it takes so much longer to get stoned, when i smoke a joint it only takes like 2 mins and im feeling it, is this just me?

 

When me and a friend used a vaporizer (homemade) it was taking us a while to get high. We just finally gave up and smoked it. Might not have been using it right or just maybe because it was homemade.

 

I dont know about other vaporizers, but I have a VaporBros GNES. The thing works amazingly well. Its always very funny tho, because it works so well, with so little weed.
Every time I smoke out of it, I always say to myself, "wow, that isnt very much weed" and after im done hitting it, I hardly feal high at all.
After about 5 minutes of saying "what the hell, im not high at all.." and then suddenly you get very very high.

So, well, for my Vape, I got a 5 to 10 minute delay on it.

But if your not getting high from a homemade one, then you probably need to get your technique down more, or make a better vaporizer.

 

do u mean it takes a long time to get high, after yer done using the vape - or do u mean that it just takes a long time to smoke the weed with a vape?

everytime ive used a vape it doesnt take any longer then normal for me to feel high

 

it takes a lot of weed from my vap to get high, 1st load i put in gets me a very little high, ( after the 5th or 6th refil im a miedem)

 

^ Well, you cant use really dry weed, You need to use fresh weed. Id noticed if its like a week or 2 weeks old, theres no point in vaping. I just put it into a bowl...

But i find it funny that you can finsh your vap, and not feel high... Then you walk away pissed off and it finally hits you

 

just dun use vap..
grab your shaft, grab your weed, and get stoned

 

Wow the first time i used a vap i hadn't smoked in a few months, and we were doing one bowl out of the vaporizer for like 10 minutes and i was so blazed it wasnt even funny... it hit me fast and hard... none of my friends were high though! hmm i wonder if it has to do with tolerance for thc

Usually a 5 minute delay for me, which I like, gives me time to put every thing away and get my head together before the extreme bakage sets in...

 

yeah a vap usually take a bit longer. maybe 5 mins or so...

 

i just used a VaporBrothers, VaporWarze, type of vaporizer. i took a big hit and held it in. i could instantly feel it before exhaling the hit. it was a very good vaporizer

 

For me, a vape high is VERY different than a pipe or bong high. That's the point of a vape. It gives me of a "head" high, and I think that's why it takes longer to "hit" you. That's my theory, at least.

I noticer vaporizers are less 'physical' highs than smoking.

I think it may have something to with different chemicals entering your body/bloodstream due to burning it vs. vaporizing it.

anyways, i definately get high as shit using a vape, and to be honest, probably higher than smoking for the most part

However, it is a much , MUCH more subtle high for me. I don't feel like i've smoked and so many times i'm left with a feeling of not being satisfied. This leads me to believe i'm not high, but when i'm open to it, or if i just sit there and try to feel it...i end up, like many other forumers on here said, getting very , very, very high!

 

yeah, i personally use my ivape (same basic construction as the vaporbrothers/vaporcannon/etc.) about 50% of the time i smoke pot. other than that it's usually my bubbler or spoon. ocassionally a joint or something. it works great, and not counting heating time i feel the effect of a good hit in less than a minute. hits like a ton of bricks, really. and despite what someone said, it doesnt matter how moist or dry the pot is. moist pot will give you more substantial vapor, but it will be more steam, not more THC.

i looked up a picture of a master blaster vaporizer on google, and it's a peice of shit (sorry)

its a glorified soldering iron with a little bowl within a glass bubble. these types of vaporizers are very inefficient, it is hard to adjust their temperature properly, and they tend to get too hot and sometimes end up burning the weed anyway.

the only recommendation i could make is to let the vaporizer heat up sufficiently BEFORE adding the pot. once you see any vapor coming up, hit it pretty continually till its dried up and brown. it will take a while most likely.

yes, i've tried this type of vaporizer and have NOT been at all impressed. i find i get LESS high with it than the same amount smoked. on the other hand, i get a much more profound effect with the style of vaporizer i have, which works more like a pipe. i'd have to figure the vapor guns would work reasonably well, too.

but you get what you pay for. those bubble vapes are usually cheap. my ivape cost me almost 200 bucks....

i've only used one type of vap that my buddy had back home. it got me stoned as hell right after the first hit...but it was hard for me to keep it in, cause everytime i sucked it in, it made this whistly sound that was sort of like ambient breeze you would hear on a beach, and everytime i take a hit off a vap now i just end up cracking up
