Has anyone found any good vegan recipe books that don't contain loads of meat imitation dishes? I'm vegan and I'm vegan because I hate milky, meaty and fishy things, there seem to be very few recipes that don't try to imitate this just with different ingredients. I'm also vegan because of the animal rights/welfare side of it but it's more the taste side of it.
welcome. I have a British book called Vegan cooking for one and the only sub I see repeatedly is soya milk. Might want to check that one out.

If you like Mediterranean food then check out The Mediterranean Vegan Kitchen. I have not made a lot from it yet, but unless I am mistaken it does not call for mock anything, meat or milk, only fresh ingredients.
