    Hey all..

didn't know where to post this.. and I don't know of 'fascinating' is the right word to use for this.. but I found a website with a big load of pictures from the Iraq war, pictures you're not likely to see in the newspapers.

    http://ppoopp.host.sk/war/index.htm

    This picture really struck me:

Thank you. Hopefull more people will post pics that show the truth. I recently met up with a friend who just returned from Iraq. He was shot in both legs. In the spirit of patriotism, the local newspaper and media completely ignored what happened to him over there.

I dont see the thirteen thousand (13.000) DEAD Iraqi civilians in those pictures. Including women and children, not to mention the 1,5 million babies that died because of the embargo.

I don't know why you don't see those pictures here.. but my guess it that this website wants to show the problems the US soldiers face.. that being a soldier and going to war isn't always glorious and heroic.. that soldiers cry, get wounded and die as well.

That's another story than (also) showing civilian victims.. but I'm sure you can find a website somewhere that tells their story through pictures as well..

if 1.5 million babys died during the embargo wasnt it a good thing to get rid of saddam

can you tell me what you would have done would you have got rid of sanctions and kept saddam and then saddams sons in power

how would you have dealt with the situation

    this picture struck me http://ppoopp.host.sk/war/pic/030620_iraqss_01.jpg

War is just the dumbest thing ever i saw on our (dutch) news the information about soldiers who died.
the guy I saw , I felt for his family and friends.
He was 21 years old 1 year married and died , well i almost want to say , for nothing

The U.S. shouldn't have supported Saddam all through the 80s. It created a lot more problems than it solved.

the brits created the country called Kuweit bcuz they wanted to give Iraq a permanent casus belli (their original plan was to prevent Iraq from having a shore to the gulf). so that when ever iraq attacked kuweit, they could intervene and invade iraq. Brits never leave any colonial region (same for france,US, netherlands and etc.) You're sitting on the wealth of the poor and the suffering, the child labor NIKE shoes and baby killer NESTLE and all that shit, I never buy them)

brits and americans, the partners in exploiting the world and the poor may create any kind of "reality" to justify their means. This is done thru their media, science (gramscian ecole) and culture (hollywood, timberlake and shit). I wont go into baudrillard or huxley as it would be a waste of time.

Japan and the gay EU is trying to get bigger bites on the exploited world (as well as turkey). Anglos dont wanna let that happen but they have to find peaceful means of doing it (real politik). british and american ignorant citizens may die for that cause and i'm by no means going to spend my time in trying to convince you as it is almost futile to change conservatist people's minds. But if you're really interested, read the book "the culture of capitalism".

about 1,5 million babies, the allies could have lifted the food embargo.
about your machiavellian reasoning: maybe you'll be a father someday. I would not kill anybody unless they invade my homeland.

about saddam, the "west" created him. "you" sold weapons, so did france (exotec missiles), russia and the US. the war isnt about the dictators. it's like claiming the world is flat.

if US and her rotten allies cared so much about dictators, they would not have placed them in south america and africa beforehand (argentina, bolivia, chile, the sudan, kongo and etc.)

    I'm already bored. thats it.

Good thing you know so much about the politics of my country and our (former) colonies... oh yeah, we love our (former) colonies and we still use all the people there (who really are still slaves, since we imported them from Africa) to make our luxury products.. ofcourse we hardly pay them, we don't want them to be able to pay for education obviously...

Don't talk about things you don't know..
