    With the Philadelphia Eagles....

So the next time McNabb goes down or gets benched, and he will, my boy is back in the spotlight...

Can't wait to see the man that was once called the most athletic and electrifying athlete in sports play again... :cheers2:

he's probably lost some of his game, and even if he hasn't, I wonder if the team might be less cordial to him because of his history.

Naw... They were one of the teams that said there was absolutely no chance they were considering him... they meant to say, "There is no chance until we assess the possible backlash". They are not concerned about his history, they are only concerned with what he can do on the field. Now if he gets in trouble again, it is the commissioner he will have to worry about

You ever seen skinny guys that come out of prison 50 lbs heavier looking like body builders? Imagine a guy who goes in looking like that with nothing to do but practice throwing and work out....

    He's gonna be a beast...

wouldnt they be afraid he'll harm the birds? Should have signed to a inanimate team, like the steelers, patriots.. but definitely not the bears or the cardinals or anything like that.. :)

Steelers are people, it is a term to describe foundry workers.

Patriots are supposed to be people too.....

I'll give that one to you as a wobbler.

This has kind of been a big topic since....it's local news.

I despise the man. He lives a few houses down the street from me and....I want to kick the 300 parked in the street in front his yard. lol

    I won't though.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have not always been the Steelers. Originally founded as the Pittsburgh Pirates by Arthur (Art) Joseph Rooney on July 8, 1933, the Steelers changed their name in 1940 in an attempt to generate some fan support and involvement. Fans were encouraged to send their suggestions to the team; several nominated the winning name Steelers to reflect the city's primary source of employment, winning season tickets for their suggestion.

The most injury prone? He missed a big chunk of one season with a broken leg... Then a couple games a few seasons later... as opposed to Donovan McNabb who has missed a game almost every season in his entire career

C'mon man, what do you know about football, for real? :hat:

Grow some balls... He can't beat your ass. He has too many millions riding on it. Not as many as he used to, but third chances don't come to guys like him.

    2002 ATL 15
    2003 ATL 5
    2004 ATL 15
    2005 ATL 15
    2006 ATL 16

Hmmmm... Not counting the year he broke his leg, it looks like he was staying pretty healthy... Even counting that year he played 77% of his games... McNabb is at 83% with more seasons to raise his avg after seasons of 9, 10, and 12 games.. Relatively, if Vick hadn't missed the past two seasons and did his non-broken-leg worst of 15 games each season, he'd be at 85%..

Highest Average Gain, Game (Min. 10 rushing attempts)

17.30 Michael Vick, Atlanta vs. Minnesota, Dec. 1, 2002 (OT) (10-173)
17.09 Marion Motley, Cleveland vs. Pittsburgh, Oct. 29, 1950 (11-188)
    16.70 Bill Grimes, Green Bay vs. N.Y. Yanks, Oct. 8, 1950 (10-167)

    Highest Average Gain, Season
    (Min. 100 rushing attempts)

    8.45 Michael Vick, Atlanta, 2006 (123-1,039)
    8.44 Beattie Feathers, Chi. Bears, 1934 (119-1,004)
    7.98 Randall Cunningham, Philadelphia 1990 (118-942)

Highest Average Gain, Career (Min. 500 rush attempts)

    7.29 Michael Vick, Atlanta, 2001-06
    6.36 Randall Cunningham, Philadelphia 1985-1995; Minnesota, 1997-99; Dallas, 2000; Baltimore, 2001 (775-4,928)
    5.22 Jim Brown, Cleveland, 1957-1965 (2,359-12,312)
5.14 Eugene (Mercury) Morris, Miami, 1969-1975; San Diego, 1976 (804-4,133)

In 2006, Vick became the only quarterback in NFL history to rush for over 1,000 yards during the regular season.

Vick (1,039 yards) and Dunn (1,140) became the first QB/RB tandem in NFL history to each go over the 1,000-yard rushing mark in the same season. They also became the fourth set of teammates in league history to each have 1,000 or more yards.

    I'd say that is production....

what? im a atlanta fan,, it is the state i live in.. he did not play a entire season period to my knowledge.a lot of those "15 game seasons" he missed half games or most of games on top of the one full game he missed.
on top of that he was a crybaby and he didnt want to practice.

what do i know about football?? lol there was a time when i could say more than i would like to admit.

for years it was the only reason i would turn the tv on..

you can think he was a amazing talent all ya want, as one who watched every away game and every home sellout game in his career,i have to disagree.

so he can run, till he fall down and go boom, then he sits down for the rest of the game..

Look for the Eagles to add a lot of trick plays to their playbook, including direct snaps to RB in the shotgun, and RB passes to WRs. Should be fun to watch. Has the NFL ever had a running back that could throw the ball better?
