its been a year and a month now... but ive been on the forum a little longer and i now present you my video update let me know what you think!!!!!!!!!!!!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6L9NvaqS91Y"]YouTube- dreadlocks @ one year , one month
thery not spongy at all...in fact theyre pretty rock solid by now. i dont use anything on them... amybe a little aloe vera here and there .. but not enough to do anything.
Lookin' good. For a while I wanted a "u lock" or reverse congo or whatever you want to call it (where the tip is connected but there are two dreads at the base), but then I stopped trying to fook with my locks. Did that happen naturally?
yeah my dread split up naturaly.. but im trying to dread it back together at the root. but it never works... it would be cool tho... a long dread with a long hole down halfway!!!
How did you start them, and how did you keep them looking so neat. They are really nice, just wondering what you did.
first of all : never waxed never never first i backcombed reeeaaaal tight with a little bit of twist and rip. then from 3 - 4 months and on , i crocheted them. its worked really well because i took the time to do it properly. i always blunted my tips and now theyre rock hard.. i mean they'll never un-blunt..(if thats a word) any other questions?
How did you keep your roots so tight? I really like your dreads, i just dont like blunted tips, to each the own. I use to crochet the lose hairs, but not so much anymore. I just hate my roots and there getting worse not better in time lol.. So thats my last questions
my roots arent as tight as you might think. ive got some roots in the back that need a lot of work these days. but seriously clockwise rubbing combined with crocheting at the roots is a definite win
I was root rubbing too, but some people on this forum flamed me for it. So I just been leaving them alone, but I might start root rubbing them again. Yours seem pretty healthy so I dont think its a bad idea.
when i first heard the song i was like OOOO nice break beats. then i heard the lame vocals and said nevermind.
