I know this will be a highly specific group, but my question applies to teenage, adoloescent, or young adults (both men and women) who are or have been sexually active and HAVE had penile/vaginal intercourse or penetration.

How long do you typically wait (or have waited) in a relationship to engage in sexual intercourse?

    A. 1 day- 1 week
    B. 1 week- 1 month
    C. 1 month- 6 months
    D. 6 months- 1 year
    E. 1 year- 2 years
    F. Above 2 years

I encourage everyone to reply and bring their own unique perspective to this issue; with different ages, sex, number of partners, etc. I got the idea for this while on my way home from a bonfire with friends. A few of whom were "macking" with their boyfriends, and I have learned tonight of the little time it took for them to become sexually active. (full-blown intercourse) I found this, to put it simply, "interested" by this, as my first sexual intercourse happend much further into my relationship than theirs did. (Or, in some cases, relationship after relationship, on a week to week basis)

Anywho it's some food for thought!!

    Thanks,
    Strawberry
