Right now as a bare minimum (if the shit really hit the fan) I could survive on 180 ($360). I could live for free at my parent's house but that could never be an option for me.. yeah.

Define "survive". I find it interesting that someone from the UK would use the dollar sign to denote currency.

I have no idea really. I don't do the finances in our family, I leave that to the husband unit because money stresses me out, seriously. I know our budgets for miscellaneous expenses, but doing the entire mathematics to figure the exact equations is enough to make my head hurt even worse right now. [IMG] However, I know there in no way in this green Earth that we could survive on $360.00 a month, what with mortgage, taxes, insurance costs, utilities, and groceries...gooodness no! I realize that we could decrease the amount we spend on certain items, but you know, if you only live once...

I mean your basic minimum that you could survive on each month. I used the dollar sign because I regularly trade with my US allies (and the pound button on my current keyboard is fucked) :)

Seamonster is winning atm at $1,500. Thats around $375 per month. I'm using that calculation to make it easy. It would actually be around 4.33 weeks per month on average I think :) Lets just calculate that each month consists of exactly 4 weeks.

the actual minimum I would need is like 0 dollars, but to pay rent and live the way I usually do, the amount above is about right

Not considering paying tuition and school stuff...

    I need a good 100$ish a month for tobacco (10-20$ a month), booze (40$ a month), going out once in a while (20$ a month), and drugs (20-40$ a month).

right now, i live on...um...probably nothing
i live at home, already have booze in stock :D
my parents feed me and keep me warm
    i don't buy anything
i maybe spend $5-20 at the bar...depending on the night
and i don't go that often

but that's just the last month

i could live off nothing in the big wide world as well, cause i've watched alot of survival shows and own plenty of survival books :H
i'd just go live in the woods
i may go a little mad
but i'd have one hell of a time :D

You can spend a lot more here too, if you want. It's just that I avoid the tourist places. I live in a small city with only one white amn's bar. In most local/thai bars, you can't buy a glass of liquor, only a bottle. It makes for some great nights, gathered around bottles, pouring your own drinks.

As for roofies, who fuckin needs 'em?
