Haven't seen it, and I don't much want to. I like action movies occasionally, but I dislike the outlandish ones. For fighting, I like martial arts epics. Anything with Jet Li is generally awesome. Hero is one of my favorite movies. So is Curse of the Golden Flower. Oh, and action oriented anime is good.
Eh. I'd see it. It didn't look particularly good. I watch a lot of movies. However I will give props to my man Morgan Freeman, who is honestly a top tier actor in my eyes. So is Ed Norton actually. I love you.
Oh yeah. I brought up Norton cause I saw hulk yesterday. It was okay. Cool action. About what I expected. Nothing like IronMan which was an honestly clever flick. There was this scene where Ed Norton was hiding from Liv Tyler, and you could see the pain in his eyes as he his, his character wanting to see her. Which is why I say he's such a quality actor.
Ed Norton is one of the best actors I've ever had the pleasure of seeing, but I still won't see The Hulk. I love how they're just ignoring the fact that Ang Lee did one a few years ago. Haha. And Morgan Freeman's voice is soooo soothing. To the last part: Aw shucks. You're just saying that.
Quality actor who apparently has to support a huge heroin habit which forces him into doing shitty movies.
I love that movie. To the OP I haven't seen the movie and I wouldn't pay to see it in the theater. I might rent it.
Well. I've given up criticizing actors who do some crappy roles. They have enough money, and if a good part isn't coming their way. They still want to act. They're artists. They should be getting involved in independent films to satisfy their creativity. But generally any actor who's in Hollywood has an agent that doesn't talk unless instead of begging a phone call with hello you start it with "$20 million".
Yeah... still... the actor can tell the agent to look for independent films. It's not like the agent is manipulating him away from the films into more money. I think that they do shitty movies for the money. They are people, and they get tired, no matter how much they love to act... and don't choose to act in shitty movies because they love to act. Acting in a shitty movie isn't the most professional of acting. But who knows... maybe Norton is just a big comic fan or some shit.
I love Ang Lee. But that 2003 Hulk movie was snorezville. We'll I don't know you too well. But you are a smart pretty girl who like Jet Li. That's the way to steal my heart. .
That's true. The actors are responsible. But at the same time. You're assuming that a lot of actors have agents with more respect for their clients wishes to preform art than their cut of a $4 million dollar check. I think a lot of meetings go like this. Ed Norton: "I want to do more Independent films." Agent: "that's a great idea Edy. I'll look into it. In the mean time, I have this Old Yeller 2 script which I think is oscar worthy." Ed Norton: "Old yeller 2? That sounds kinda dumb." Agent: "It's a great family flick. All the oscars are going to family movies this year." Ed Norton: "Well..." *Agent stuffs script in actors still open mouth.*
havent seen it yet, but i wanna... it looks darn good. in that cheesy senseless action flick kind of way i wanna see ironman too. i probably wont bother til it comes out on dvd and just rent it form work though. wanted i may go through the bother of dling and burning
I will probably go see it next weekend, even tho i can tell it's already gonna piss me off. It's very VERRRRYYY loosely based on an amazing comic series.
