I don't plan on buying this shit again, I wonder how many current presidential candidates have already bought and paid for it? Funny how none of the candidates even those now serving in the senate have mentioned it. It's all based on the general's report...I didn't hear him once say in the congressional hearings that Iran is the big boogeyman. But hey Sadaam had wmd and was training Al Qaeda wasn't he, let's get our shorts in a knot over a Moveon ad, but let's never question the neo-con version of the truth.

They are using a uniformed general and a black female secretary of state this time to sell us on escalating this bullshit. How many people will they have to use next time to sell us another lie? Last time they used one person a black retired general who happened to be Secretary of State to sell their lies.

Oh, why not tell the American people that Iran blew up the Twin Towers...I think they have been trying to tie it in by refusing the Iranian president the consideration of allowing him to show his respect by laying flowers there..maybe they would have contained poisoned gas or a mini nuke? Weren't his tennies checked at the airport like you and are checked?

Wahooo, let's bring in September 11th, why not wmd...woah, wait they are telling us about nukes aren't they? Same lies different spin. How much of 190 billion do you think they are paying their spin doctors? How much do you think Haliburton, Carlyle and Blackwater will get?

This is Bush's and his neo-con friends last attempt to escalate matters to fit their agenda. After all he's out in 2008. Got to get the job done now, or worry about who will continue the cause.

Got those carriers and cruisers in place...losing money without taking action. Doesn't matter that none of these countries labeled as axis of evil have actually really imposed a threat...got to act because our guys in uniform have died for something they should never have been ask to do in the first place. Let's paint our proposed enemy as woman and child killers let's paint them as infidels and terrorists...funny old term that took lots of people into wars that made no sense.

And, Oklahoma. Which does not suprise me. Considering the 1 friend I have from there and her political/social bent.

    Thanks for saying that.

Seems wierd. I won't think the Dems would allow such an amendment out of commitee and onto the floor for a vote, especially since a most of them, it seems, has been very vocal on setting a deadline for getting out of Iraq.

www.senate.gov/ is the website for the senate. Maybe there is something on the site relating to this, either what the amendment is or when it is scheduled for a vote.

The Senate authorized the attack today by a vote of 76-22. It's on.

Worse yet, Hillary Clinton voted FOR starting a war with Iran, and thus lost any chance of getting my vote. Obama didn't vote at all, and a lot of Democrats voted for war, as you'll see below. We're fucked, no two ways about it.

Hillary didn't surprise me, but Biden sure did. It looks like Dodd was the only candidate who actually put his foot down.

    Here we go, America.

It's an amendment to 2008 Defense Authorization Bill, so the Bill passes which it has to in order to keep funding our military, and the amendment isn't removed they've pulled a fast one on the American public.

It doesn't surprise me about Hillary, she as much as made her stance known about war with Iran, by her responses during the debate. She has prior knowledge that we are planning such action.

Supposedly some of the stronger language was removed, but the version that passed supposedly still declared Iran to be a terrorist state. I still believe that Bush will kill more people than Hitler did by the time he leaves office. He really does want to bring about "The End Times."

Those "Christian" End Timers are the greatest threat that humanity has ever faced, and they're the ones we should be tracking down and killing.
