The Pentagon has ordered about 2,000 military personnel from the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division to the Middle East, trained to deploy anywhere in the world within eighteen hours. About 2,500 Marines from the 31st Expeditionary Unit will arrive in the region later this week.

They're manipulating the Stock Market for fun and profit.
Economist Paul Krugman came right out and said it: “People close to Trump are trading based on national secrets.” Another word for that, he said, is “treason.” The evidence for such a claim is the sudden and isolated jump in trading volume in S&P 500 and oil futures about 15 minutes before Trump suddenly announced that the U.S. and Iran were in negotiations to end the war—an announcement that turned out to be false.

The oil futures trade alone was worth about $580 million, the Financial Times estimated. As Krugman notes, exploiting confidential information for financial gain, otherwise known as “insider trading,” is illegal. But exploiting confidential information about national security for private financial gain is something else again. It puts profit-making above Americans’ safety.

“I’d very much like to know exactly who was making those trades yesterday morning,” Krugman wrote. “Were they people directly in the know, or billionaires/traders who paid people in the know for tips?”

The US and Israel have been aggressors in the middle east for decades. Seems like you have been drinking too much of the red, white, and blue kool aid. Let's not forget that the US attacked Iran first, and not the other way around. The US also did not declare war but launched a surprise attack.

The US is now allied with a leader accused of being a war criminal and continues to obstruct justice by shielding Netanyahu from the international criminal court, and has even sanctioned some of their judges...

Attacking civilian power plants, which Trump has threatened to do, is also a war crime.

Agreed but the US does not fully recognise the ICC. Selectively at best. I've wondered for many years why nobody ever did something to fix that.

You mean to tell me that a country as righteous as the USA, which obviously has supreme morals to the rest to the world, follows a double standard when it comes to the ICC?

There's no way the USA would ever enforce a double standard. Especially not about nuclear weapons.

But the USA did sign the Geneva conventions. So even if they don't recognize the ICC Netanyahu still committed war crimes in breach of the Geneva conventions, even though he hasn't been charged by any nation or tribunal that the US acknowledges.
