I thought I better not post a picture just only the site
*Warning Some people, may be offended.*
    http://www.autopsybabies.com/main.html

I wasnt sure about sharing this art with all these Positive people, but I myself do alot of art invovling Life and Death, and came across this site a few weeks ago, at first I thought it was disurbing and horrible. But then I looked at the detail of the work and looked up the meaning behind it.

    I figure it as..
-Babies are born into the world healthy and ment to represent good.

    In this site..
-These babies represent evil and the babies that are born disabled and dismembered and put away and cast out in society.

For the people that look at this site, do not judge straight away, look at the art side of things.

    Peace and Love

Cool site, I like demented stuff like that...

kinda reminds me of a ceramics project we did in hischool. One students parents donated a bunch of plaster molds of doll parts... so our project was to make whatever we wanted with whatever baby doll parts we wanted... i remember a lot of peoples dolls looking similar to the stuff on that site

_This are not actual autopsies, these are
I find it somewhat interesting, although I fail to see why you would think these are representations of disabled babies; when they can simply represent the evil in each & everyone of us, even the "normal" people.

thanks for your thoughts guys, I can understand the people that cant really look at this, because it kinda does represent the sicker side of life, but then again it does represent maybe the evil in us when were born.

But i'm trying for an art project similair to one of those babies just for an experiment but i'm thinking of puttin a tie-dye shirt on it or somthing, so it wont be all that bad, lol.

Well it should be finished in maybe a week.

    Peace and Love

Very grotesque and morbid... I have a great deal of interest in the shrouded parts of humanity; I guess I should start exploring my idea of what it is.

that is a little twisted... I don't know who buys into that sort of thing but good luck with that. That I think crosses a bit of a line, I'm not sure how artsy that is.

i wasnt gonna click on it but then i thought sod it why not? i think whoever looks at the sight must remember they are dolls not achall babies. some how i dont think they are aloud to use babies (fair enough) i think people who slag things like that off fair enough but they arent real or enteraining they are art. and if you think its sick, really arent you the sick one for looking at the website. it is after all autopseybabies.com what did u achally expect !!!!!!

    A) i dont think these are art... in my eyes they look like dolls people have manufactured to appeal to the new "goth kid" group of people (the very rich "goth kid")

    b) They dont represent dissabled babies, infact if you look many of them have been mutilated rather than having dissabilities they were born with. the "current doll" for example is siamese twins... who are STAPLED together. so therefore rather than showing the evil thats in all of us when we are born it shows the evil we inflict on even the most innocent of creatures.

examples of other "dead dolls" that you can get (the only difference being these are ore massproduced and designed with the mainstream "goth kid" in mind)

Yeah i can see how you can related to these as maybe a toy to keep a little Goth kid happy. I dont think i could hang up these dolls in my room or even my house, hah i would crap myself everytime i would see them, i would eventul think they would be real and just go crazy.

But i just look at the art side.

lol that reminds me there was a goth chick at school today and she said i looked like i hippie and i said "thanks, you look like a goth" and she like got all angry and stuff so i just smile and taped her on the shoulder and walked of, haha it was good.

    peace and love

Obviously people buy the dolls otherwise the website wouldn't still be up and running, but $400 a pop? Wow, you would think they would use gold staples for that kind of price. Sheesh, the dolls are disgusting enough without the outrageous price.

I agree with everyone else thats there no artistic value in those dolls. None, zip, zilch..

Morbid curiosity led me to click on the link... it's certainly different, but I agree with others, it's not something I'd really classify as art.
