I wonder if there are africans on this forum ... Even if i know there is an african forum it seems more like a debating place on the problems of africa and bla blah EDIT - silly me, hugh is an african
I used to tell people I was Brazilian. Even though I'm quite visibly white. but.. for now, you can consider me Mexican. On this lovely Cinquo de Mayo today.... Hola. :H
!!! I told this one really dumb kid in my grade eight class that I was from Capetown!! and he believed me. AHahhaha He was this big hotshock jock who was a sincere asshole and thought he was better than everyone else. And he was very frank about his being better too. Even though I doubt he can even comprehend half of what he says..
i can be spanish! since i can speak spanish as good as english. there's an awesome guy from mexico, but he doesn't post often...
yes. i grew up in san diego.. thats practically mexico. if that counts. (on the list of tourist places in san diego county, once i saw it said Tijuana... interesting how thats part of the county...)
I'm glad you edited that Otherwise i'd have had to correct you :$ Unfortunately I only speak english as i'm descended from British settlers as oppose to the Dutch ones (afrikaaners)....or the portuguese (mozambique)...or Germans (namibia) of course most south africans are tweetaal (bilingual) with english and afrikaans, unless you're from a reeeeeally english area in which case your afrikaans sucks not many white africans actually make the effort to speak african languages....my grandpa spoke zulu (1st language) xhosa, siNdebele and shona...but you know exception to every rule.... in conclusion we need more spanish speakers
Yeah I will definetly try, at least basic stuff, people really appreciate that kinda thing I'll probably learn sotho cos i'll be living in gauteng where they speak that.... I'm learning Afrikaans before I move to SA (not spoken in zim...well...nod widely) but since its the mother tongue of 60% of whites AND the cape coloured population its worthwhile knowning it. Plus its much easier to learn (think dutch only simpler)
