no i don't think you're crazy at all. and you're not doing anything wrong. no im not uncomfortable. i find great amusement in this thread. thank you for starting it. i do love your attitude. i find it amusing that you are so flawed in what you have to say... but who am i? i am nobody....carry on. im done. oh, i think everything you said is all good, but it ignores universal truths.
How is what I am saying ignoring universal truths? I am a nobody too. I am just me, and you are just you. That's what makes it great. I am enjoying this thread too, thx for the compliment So if I am not crazy, why are you being leery? And yes, I still love you mr. referee It's ok to leave though, whatever makes you happy is fine by me.
He is just expressing his personal beliefs. THAT is why this thread is great. Everyone is crazy, but it's still nice for people to express how they feel, regardless as to how others feel about it.
I agree! Everyone should feel comfortable expressing themselves. No one should stop other people from it. Everyone should feel good about who they are and not be judged by superficial nonsense. We're all on this crazy marble together! I'll log on another time, however. A friend of mine I have known online since 16 wants to play soe infantry online with me. C u guys around.
i'm very leery because you made the christians live better lives, look healthier etc statement.... if you really, really believe that then you know absolutely nothing. good health is not correlated to religious belief. religious belief is not correlated to health. the only thing it correlates to is church attendance and personal views about unknown or unseen phenomena. there was a study once, that showed that christians were the least likely to help a stranger in need. i will look for sources if you want. and about the universal truths. if you can't see beyond the bible then there is nope hope of me or any others showing you the reality in which our world exist. you can't really see that the earth is round...so why not assume it's flat? well, simple, you trust in scientific methods to justify your belief that it's curved. well, with the same scientific reasoning and unbiased study, a truth was beginning to finally surface. and that truth is that we all evolved from a single ancestor. why is this not as credible? it's becoming common knowledge. but to some its an unflattering existence and a bleak reality that we are so insignificant and so alone. for me, it's utterly fascinating. it would take great effort to effectively get my point across and yours. this forum is not a viable platform for such....lol sounds like a cop out but i really feel that way. just know that the furthest you can go is within.
Where does the Bible say that the earth is flat? Also, what do you mean Christians are last likely to help? If they aren't helping, then how can you call them a Christian? They can call themselves whatever they want, but there is a different between someone that calls themselves a christians and someone who acts accordingly to what a christian is supposed to be, based on what is said on the Bible. I do believe in evolution too, changes occur gradually, what about it? Have you read uncommon dissent? I don't disagree with anything that scientists show. Except for theories because theories just show the overall expression of the wiggiliness of the universe. And I know it's more than just a theory, just like evolution is just a theory, etc. But all that we have to know is how 1 thing interacts with another. I don't trust any method other than living in the now. And don't feel that it's a cop out, we're just having a discussion... I know that I should be going but felt like replying to your post. And you're right, I jumped the gun with the healthier bit. But if the Bible told us to stay away from certain behaviors that aren't conducive to body mind and spirit that are in lined with reality and science, then wouldn't that make you healthier? Ned Flanders was so sexy in the Simpsons and atheists often believe that religious belief has an evolutionary importance.
holy shit, i was rereading the tread. this caught my eye. omg it made me laugh so much...why, because the truth is funny. i love what you did with this u.a.
ok, i drop my sword. but triumph yet with the truth. i think we all can agree we have taken this as far as it can go. enjoy soe infantry. do you play team fortress classic?
Never heard of it and ty. Maybe i'll give it a shot Btw, in my defense, it wasn't me that derailed this thread, was it? I am not blaming anyone, but I intended for this thread to be what I was doing. I wanted everyone to create a list and express why the love the people in their list. I just felt the need to reply to the comments that were being made. It has gone very far, so this will be my last post in this thread. Love, Michael.
nah, your intentions in the thread were pure enough. imo just that the intensity of the subject stirs a lot of thoughts into the air molecules. imo
hahaha Was it me who derailed the thread? If so, you have my apologies. I just happened to see some comments that I felt like responding to, so I responded. lol
hahahah, that explains why train wrecks are vital to leaps in break design. derailment is necessary for that...right? it's like self discovery for trains.
hahahaha True, indeed. If trains never derail, then the engineers never know what improvements need to be made. It's a good analogy for life, actually. Mistakes need to be made before lessons can be learned
that brings up an interesting point. genes act in similar fashion. eventually a sequence of dna will self discover an efficient way to code a protein that benefits a species fitness. they 'learn' from random mutations and environmental pressures...derailment of necessity on all levels.
True. Adaptaion = evolution = necessity. They're all the same. I just wish I had an explanation for my enormous ears:bigear: haha
