we picked out our puppy yesterday...

he's a dark blonde lab, huge head and paws. he's gonna be a beast. but he's really mellow and smart, super affectionate and clearly dominated the other pups. i think he's gonna be built like his dad, named bear, who's a super thick, muscular beautiful chocolate lab. we get to pick him up in three weeks! we're gonna name him angus.

I love labs. My dad used to have a black one, he was so fun. I hope you have enough space for him to play around in, they have LOTS of energy.

the puppies were so adorable. the owner built a mobile home for them and when we went to look at them they were all standing up at the side with their little heads poking over, looking for loves. they were so soft and precious. bumbling around and crawling all over each other. so cute. and puppy breath! awww.

That's great. We had a total of 1 black lab and 2 yellow labs growing up. They are very good to children

 

Yep, currently there are 3 labs (2 yellow, 1 chocolate) among my family. They are good family dogs.

 

yeah, i think he's gonna be great. he was the first to climb outta the inflatable pool they were sleeping in and wander over to the dog food and eat it. actually, he laid in the bowl and ate the dog food. lol. adorable! but he's gonna eat us outta house and home, i think.

we have to puppy-proof the house now. i wonder how he'll get along with the rabbit.

 

i really want a black lab, or at least a lab mix... i'm envious... i eagerly await pictures.
