we picked out our puppy yesterday...

as in magnum p.i.?

 

hell if i know. we got him with the name attached to him, he was almost a year old or so when we got him.

he's a sweetheart, but terribly stupid.

my deceased dog, a crabby little old lap dog named holly, once tricked him.

there was only one big crate for the two of them, but they didnt like each other and never shared it. holly, being the mean old bitch that she was, never liked to play, but higgins was really young and ALWAYS wanted to play. the crate had a nice comfy bed of blankets and stuff in it, with a blanket over the top to keep it dim in there so they could sleep and have a little space just for themselves.

well, one afternoon holly wanted to take a nap, but higgins was in the bed. so she took his favorite toy, and started running around the room squaking it and wagging her tail and such. higgins was beside himself that she actually wanted to play, so he immediately got up and ran out to roughhouse. as soon as he was out of the bed she dropped the toy and ran in and took it

 

Puppy breath smells like Tim Horton's coffee, yesterday after I picked up a coffee and I drove away with it in my hand I caught a whiff and thought of sweet puppy kisses.

It does sorta smell like coffee! And sometimes burnt waffles...lol.

 

shes a miniature american eskimo crossed with a long haired chihuahua. so shes got the softness of a mini eskimo with some black in her fur, and she loves hanging out with us and cuddling and suchlike. freaks out a little at new people but once shes used to them shes a cuddlebug with them too. so freakin cute. her name is Isis. she was chris' sisters dog, but she moved toa place that doesnt allow pets so we bought the puppy off of her

i like long haired chihuahuas. i typically despise all small dogs, much the same way they despise me. but i get on great with long hair chihuahuas. they're kinda like cats, with a little barking.

 

exactly. the neighbours have a long haired chihuahua that get chained in their backyard in the summer (dont see him in the winter... too damn cold for tiny dogs to be outside for hours and hours) and he has a totally sweet temperament too

my mom has a miniature pinscher and those are ridiculously hyper dogs. my dog and her dog like playing with each other, but they loooove playing with our friends burnese mountain dog (bout the same size as a small golden, similar fur but different colouring)... sooo funny seeing my moms dog hanging off the giant dogs jowels

 

I can't wait to see pictures. I want another schnauzer - a male this time. When my mom bought her dog a few years back the breeder also had mini schnauzer puppies and I fell in love with the breed all over again. I have to wait until Delaunay is no longer with me though. She refuses to share me.

 

So, how's Anus doing? Did he start "marking" his territory yet???

 

we don't get angus for another three weeks. we're gonna crate train him. see how it goes. we've both had dogs, ya know.

 

Waiting will only make you appreciate Anus more.
