at Earls Court, and it was so incredible i can't explain it! oh man, they were amazing. Soulwax and the Zutons supported them, Soulwax were brilliant, the Zutons were pretty cool, but i can't remember them at all now, after Muse. they played for over an hour and a half, and it was even better than the wembley gig last year, i cried in Sing for Absolution! hahaa. they're doing another gig at Earls Court tonight, and it's being broadcast live on Xfm 104.9 if you want to listen to it, Xfm is a london station so you can also listen to it on the net at www.xfm.co.uk Matt Bellamy whirled his guitar round by the tremalo bar and smashed it onto the stage, then threw it into the audience... i have some photos, maybe get em up soon... I was there the second night! It was brilliant, me and my mates managed to blag ourselves standing tickets, where I nearly died twice. We were still sitting when the Zutons were playing, which was a shame, but they were good anyway. It seemed about a hundred times better, cause we'd worked for those tickets, and I nearly touched the bassists bass! He held it out over the audience really near me, but I'm too short, damn my mother for her genes. But I was really happy bout that nearly, anyway, specially as I play the bass.
wow you get out alot man... i had the opportunity to see them down here in florida last month but passed it (for some strange reason).
I sold my muse ticket and went to a church christmas party instead. There was an amazing band there called Michael Whiteman and his Messengers of Rock...(or alternatively-Arturo). They have the vibrance and soul of a hyperventilating hypochondriactic pencil......hmm maybe NOT the right simile to use. But they rock ever so.
