I have been on the pill for several months. Last week, I finished the active pills of my last pack and got my period. It ended on Saturday, with a bit of spotting on Sunday.

I have been extremely itchy and irritated since then. BF and I used a new type of condom on Saturday and I figured it was a reaction to the lube on the condom. Today I started getting a little bit of discharge that looks like a yeast infection beginning. This evening, I noticed a bit of spotting. Spotting between periods is VERY unusual for me. Could it be related to the yeast infection?

Also, the last time I used a latex condom, I got a yeast infection as well. BF and I usually use polyeurithane. I don't think it's a latex allergy because I have semi-recently used a type of condom I've used before previously and had no problem. It's just when I use these different kinds that I get a problem. They're all the same brand, but different styles, so they could have differenty kinds of lube. Could an allergy to the lube used cause a yeast infection?

i used to get chronic yeast infections when i was using condoms taht have been covered in nonoxynol9, a spermicide/lubricant many condom users put on their condoms. since then, ive tried avoidign it. itchiness and cottage cheesy discharge are two good indicators of a yeast infection. i have -never- had spotting due to a yeast infection though, and ive had nearly a dozen in my life

agree with allonym, ive never had spotting because of a yeast infection and i dont think they are related. you could still be getting used to the pill and it could be causing you to spot. or you might need to try a different pill. the first one i tried was fine for a few months, then i started getting 8 day periods...
i have no idea what could be causing your yeast infection, if thats what it is, sorry. it could be a sensitivity to some chemical in a condom or spermicide or soap or shave gel...
soap used to give me yeast infections sometimes.
or you might just have to cut down on eating yeast breads, etc.
try eating lots of yoghurt :)
