I just got home from my latest deployment...just 29 days this time...but next time....september to march...that one will be rough. I should get to see some new places in other countries though
no I was able to log in from the ship. I basically checked my pms and posted in the pure bull since it was less active than the RT. took damn near 2 minutes to open a page before I remembered I could turn sigs avatars and images off...but it still took too long to DL to actually enjoy the random banter of the random thoughts.
I was at around 33 kbps... So I did not feel your pain. You must have suffered dearly. How is life on the ship, in general?
hmmm I will see what I can do. well there were 5500 people on board and almost all got some gastrointestinal think that made ya squirt out both ends...lines fer food and the planes landing a scant 10 feet above my head while I am trying to sleep....but not bad really. what I signed up for. Really it was OK rained a lot at first but it was so muggy before the rain was so much better and cooler....got to go to Ft. Lauderdale..never been there before.
um..I went to my friend turtles wedding...and except for the wedding couple, all the friends that were there were all just starting all their carrers after college or already doing well and I looked at myself , working full time at a salvation army thrift store and decided I wanted to go to college. I didnt want a loan... I pushed the idea aside for a few months but eventually got fired and thought about it again...except for my dad all the men in my family were navy men, dad was airforce...
Wow, I haven't seen a quite a while... but I guess it's also my fault!! I was gone a long time... Welcome back
Well, I do hope that the Navy lets you fullfill your dreams Alot of people here in Israel depend on the army to finance thier initial studies as well.
yeah, actually with the training I got I could get a pretty decent job, I will have 9 years experience when this enlistment is up....and I will have like 50000 bucks for college too.
That's awsome. You can go to college and continue your education at your field, becoming an expert; and then you can get a more than decent job.
