Ummm, there's usually alot of things going on in June for us. Could we possibly make it a mid-July thing instead?

What about August? I was talking to someone else on here and it seems like August might just be better for everyone. And Oregon would be great!

August would be good - just not on the Seattle Hemp Fest weekend. That is on the third weekend in August, so maybe the first weekend in August? We could help with organization if needed.

I have a sneaking suspition that the 4Ums Cafe, a l'il 2-bit kitchen with a state of the art water filtration system at the California Gathering, will resurect there.

Speaking of the 4-ums kitchen, I just found a few pics from Cali 2004 at the kitchen with Professor Jumbo, Buttercup, and m6m. I gotta take them somewhere to scan and then I'll post them.

Hippyfreek and I are getting married in the summertime up in the Seattle region. We were talking about August, but still have some discussing to do. There will be a few folks up in BC who might also be interested, as long as it's not too far south. And we will have a little squirt and won't be able to travel too far. Washington would be ideal, but I think Oregon would work too. Keep us posted.

We could always just invite all the forumers to our wedding and make the reception an overnight camping type thing

I mean, the forums are the reason we met, might as well keep forumers involved!

    *crazy ideas*

either way, there should be a convergence of some sort at the rainbow..
somebody just needs to put up a notice at the info center place then put up a banner of some sort to meet under...

Okay...We were just talking...we do want to get married in August....And we don't think it would be such a bad idea inviting forumers to our wedding, or at least a wedding reception....a camping dealy-mabobber....Would give us more a reason to get together and celebrate...

So, I want to get married on the 14th (I have a thing for the number 14) and that's a sunday....

And Brian says that if it's north of Eugene, where we can all meet, that'd be great...

How would yall feel about gathering for a wedding? :D

Well, you can count us in for one or the other or both. And thanks for not picking the 24th of August!

I like this idea!! I'm already here, so it works. But I have family in Reno, and I'd love love love to meet Yellowbelly.

I wish I could hang out in Colorado, but the likelihood of that is just ridiculous....I think we should be planning a gathering of our own too, like lace suggested....one for those of us that live pretty close to I-5, north or south....And considering that last year, when I tried to start getting washingtonians together three months before I moved out there, we need to start planning NOW or nothing will really get done.

I realise most people want to meet in Colorado, and fine, go.....But Lace got me all excited about possibly meeting oregonians and californians in time for them to see the newest forumer-baby and for me to meet more people that I've grown to know and love....Abandoning this idea really makes me feel sad....

Umm for someone who hasn't been to the hipforums in forever this thread is strange to me, maybe I'm just strange altogether. But here's my thoughts: I don't understand why you(hippyfreak) feel you have to abandon the idea of the wedding get-together. I'm sure lots of forumers would come out for that. And to see the soon to be babyhipforumer. I also think that is a really great area for a West-Coast Hipforums.

I was thinking I don't know what kind of wedding you wanted to have, but they can get quite expensive, that the forumers could do something/help out with some aspects of the wedding and in exchange you guys find a venue, host, and let us attend. It sounds like a deal to me. I have 3-4 hipforumers (including herbuh and I) hmm maybe even 5 who I'm sure would like to attend. Though 3 of them don't really come around the forums much I'm sure they'd like to come. And also I don't want to speak for them but I'd imagine Applespark and Yogiforpeace would like to come as well. So I say don't abandon that idea. Maybe do a poll in a busier forum to see if more people are interested cause I saw that at least a few were and I'm sure there's quite a few unspoken for.

Also if people want to have one in Colorado they can have one there too, I'm sure it won't hurt to have more than one. I doubt many Cali-Oregon-Washington people would be able to make it though. I don't really think of that as West Coast anyway so I think that is a diffrent gathering in the making, in my book.
