This pisses me off. They're telling us not to go near stagnant water (such as ponds or anything), not to keep water fountains or ponds in our yards, to always wear bugspray, 24/7, and to basically avoid going outside when we have the choice. What the crap? Yeah, let's waste our short 3 month summer by staying inside all day! Because according to studies, one in every 200 infected mosquitos will transfer it to humans. Hold crap I just want to beat them...
The chances of getting west nile are very very low... and even if you get it, its just like a bad cold if your in good health. The media gets more attention when it uses scare tacts like west nile or mad cow.
thats what ive pretty much had to do.....lol anyways, fuck west nile, dont live yer life avoiding shit cuz yer scared to get sick or whatever. just do what you want, if you want to have fun outside and youre scared to get the disease, wear bug spray.
I know. It's so retardedly over-done, now everyone's all afraid. Dude, I hang out in the woods when I want, and I'll go to the lake if I feel like it. I wear bugspray like 3 times each year because I don't want to be itchy. I've had at least a hundred mosquito bites this summer, hm, let's see, no diseases yet!
I wouldn't give a shit you do all that and while you are sitting in a house fuck lit my finger on fire damn it man that hurt ok so you are sitting in your house and a plane could fall through the roof killing you then you would feel like an idiot like I do with a sore finger
They always have those west nile scares around here. I think more birds get infected around here than humans. I hardly ever wear bugspray.
I'm in the woods at night, late evening, wee early morning, all the time, (I think that's when mosquitos come out, don't really know) and I'm not sick. A few bites, but not sick. Everybody was scared of West Nile here for awhile, then we all just kind of said, "fuck that, light a candle and it will keep the bugs away."But a few birdies got it.
I find it ironic that they are telling the public to wear bugspray with DEET in it. A chemical that has proven to be carcinogenic. Yea, that's a GREAT idea.
Just who do you think runs the media? You know that they have to be somehow connected with whoever manufactures and makes money off this crap. I just don't wear any bugspray.
