    ....WONDERFUL LADY!

I dont know how my mother does it she is a fuckin tropper! Giving birth to 3 children (women in general for that...oh man looks painful) having to raise us mostly by her self. Living with my father is hell, hes mostly in a bad mood, but yah I love him. But all the things she puts up with my dad wow...its just wow! Having me as a child (when i was 8 or so) that Im sure was hell I was not the best behaved, always in some sort of trouble some where. My sister shes not bad at all. But my brother has bi-polar which has been hard to deal with over the years. medication to medication problem to problem, stereotype to stereotype. Its still hard and I honestly dont know how she does it!

She works part time and shes recently went back to school to become a social worker. Im so proud of her, but shes been really run down lately and tired..between keeping the house clean, making dinner, working, studying and making sure eveyone in the house is happy its hard!
Id like to show her that I appericate it and words dont seem like enough! I dont know what to do...she doesnt eat sweets or anything so it would be kind of pointless to buy a cake and sort of celebrate...Not the party the cake!

So if there are any suggetions on what i should do for my mother (Im not crazy rich, and I dont want to use my families money...too many bills soo many grocerys etc) so Id like to keep it simply but yet wonderful.

And to all you people out there who complain about how there mom and dad wont let them go to parties and to conerts etc. Look at what you parents do for you! They just care about you so exscuse them if they dont want to see you drunk or high...or let you be in harms way. they are doing the best they can with what they got...love themm....cause their all you got. No family is perfect ..none...no such thing as a perfect family, but life is how you look at it. If you choose to look negitivly upon what you have and what you dont have then life will not be fun and you'll miss out. Be happy and positive, and you might be able to live. Life is hard living isnt.

This is a great thread. What you saying goes far beyond just loving your family. People who view everything as bad all the time just end up bitching all the time. I hate that. So good for you!!

As for your Mom, just give her a day off sometime. Sit her down to relax, clean before she gets home, make her dinner, rub her feet and most important tell her how you feel about her. There is no better present then feeling appreciated.

    Preach it, sista. :)

You could paint her something, or write her something, or (learn to) knit her something. Or, if all else fails, just tell her all that you said there. She'd love to hear it, I'm sure. :)

Give her a chance to relax. Organize the siblings and cook dinner, do laundry, dust, sweep, vacuum, whatever needs to be done. Divide it up according to who can do what (don't know the age of your sibs). Get Da to help too, or at least stay out of the way if he won't.

Wow. That is SOOOOOOO nice to hear. Let her see this thread. She should be very proud of the child she raised. :)

I'm glad someone isn't trashing their mother for a change.

    Good for you!
