I would tell myself..."She cheating on you idiot"!

I would tell you..."Be safe. No fear. Common sense. Take things slow because they just start going faster"

    [IMG] Happy birthday Laci!

I'm not big on giving advice, I actually think advice can sometimes do more harm than good.

Don't be in any hurry to have kids. Trust me on this, you WILL absolutely regret it, if in your late teens/early 20's you're forced to put your own life on hold just because your 1 night stand got you knocked up and it's with somebody you didn't even care about that much in the first place. Trust me even more, the system WILL make you pay for this mistake. I mean, really pay. As in, actual dollaridoos. Which is gonna suck if you're broke, because then they'll work you like a dog.

I've remained childless to the tender age of 34 and it's been the best decision of my life. You have the freedom to come and go as you please, you can just fully concentrate on yourself. When you become a parent, all that will be gone, you won't be your own woman anymore, remember that. Get rich first, THEN you can afford the kids.

Also, IF you do get a credit card, take the lowest possible credit limit offered to you by your CC company, say, a 1000$ bucks at most. It's still a pretty easy and reasonable sum to negotiate with your creditors, if you can't pay it back like RIGHT NOW. Remember, credit card purchases are always FUTURE DEBT, and they expect you to pay it all back at some point. Credit is NEVER free money. Never.

get the most out of free education, assuming you're still in high school. don't just fuck it off. make it so you're parents will feel bad if they don't fund you through college/university.
put money away and start fucking working if you haven't already, even if you're in school

Beware! While College is the next logical step, college debt could cripple your future

learn everything you can about how to survive without any of the things you're familiar with. there may very well come a time in your life, when humanity is very nearly wiped out by famine and disease. that is the real threat of climate change, ecopocalypse. who survives and who doesn't, well be almost a complete roll of the dice, other then whatever advantage you can gain from knowledge of wild foods and improvising wilderness survival techniques. not saying it will. and i'm definately not saying it will be bleak if you do. once the population is reduced, there will be no one to tell you what kind of shelter you can't build, or where you can't build it, only your own knowledge of what might be wise and what might not.

its not to late for humanity to avoid most of that fate either, but the more we insist on what we're familiar with over what makes more sense, the less likely we will be to do so.
on the other paw of course, i thought my generation was, and it hasn't happened yet. other then nearly every glacier in retreat and the rising of a few degrees of global average temperatures.

once upon a time there was a little song that said good advice was worth nothing and it was worth the price.
that could always be the best advice there is.
just be reasonably cautious and take nothing for granted.
there just really isn't any better general advice then that that i know of.

buy low, sell high, but don't forget it isn't the little green pieces of paper that are unhappy.
wealth can be fun and poverty is certainly inconvenient, but both can happen multiple times in the same life,
even regardless of what we my try or think we are doing about it.

so don't expect, but don't forget to be considerate either,
because each other's consideration, is all anyone really has.

Seriously, don't stress about messing things up. So many external influences guide your path through life. Learn to love yourself. Once you do that, everything else is easy.

    Oh, and happy belated birthday.

If you know what you want to do with your life, give it your all.

If you don't, do as many things as possible.

that's where i messed up a lot when i was younger. i guess i still do. much too late in life i learned, i don't know if i really even have, but i can observe it to be true, that the way to succeed is to fail, and not be afraid of failing, and analyze what went wrong and try something else. i just really envy people today who can understand that and not have a problem with it.

    Happy Birthday sweet sweet girl.

I have no advice for you, darlin'. Each path is unique to the person traveling. You are immensely powerful and gifted. All it takes to tap into that is to remember who you really are.

    Have fun along the way!
