What Are/Have You Been Doing Today.?

Tried to fix the washer pump on the van, it's pretty much inacessable so I decided to fuck it and pay someone else to do it, then spent 20 minutes fucking around with the bulbs. Still needs a fair bit of work doing on it this week before it's MOT, and I kinda want to T-Cut it too.

Edit, apparently it's on the bottom of the reservoir, still a bitch to get but I'll give it another go.

Anyway I haven't been to school since last Wednesday because my mom decided she needed to spontaneously come visit family about three hours from home. Family doesn't really get along with mom so it ended with a large fight. I should be going home today but who knows.

 

that sucks. My family doesn't get along either, and we live together so we just don't speak to each other that much, only on special ocasions

 

I've been very angry with my mom this week for acting strange and sneaking around and lying and etc. As it turns out, she was sneaking around because she didn't want us to know about the stage three ovarian cancer
So I'm mad but not really allowed to be and therefore pretty confused.

I'm so sorry for you and your mom... hopefully she will realize that being sick is no excuse for being sneaky with family. It's not nice to just hide something like that.

 

Thanks guys. After a week of fighting and being angry with her she finally told us what the deal was. It was hard to convey to her how I felt about the being sneaky thing when...you know...she just figured out she has cancer. If I said 'I wish you could have been honest with us' she'll say "Its alllllways about everyone else......isn't it?' and nothing really gets anywhere.

The trick is figuring out treatment. She needs to go to a hospital in Gainseville, where my dad / family live, but for a week at a time each time. She will need to be driven and taken care of while there, and there isn't really anyone she can turn to for that. Plus her boyfriend, that we live with, travels for his job and is only here on weekends pretty much, so if she is gone for a week I can't stay home alone and will end up missing a lot of school. So no one knows what to do.

I allways felt like Id tripped down a flight of stairs when I went back to construction work after a couple of weeks out of the game. You'll get used to it in a few days (well after a week of fucking yourself up and a weekend of recovering)

Thought of the day for Bean: Quit work? I only work 2 days a week but it feels like I have no time for uni, since I spend my days off recovering from working. I don't rely on the money to live, so yea. I dunno. Only thing keeping me there is the people. I'm probably/might be joining the boss's scout group as an assistant leader so that's cool.
