what are some long term effects on mind/body from LSD/shrooms because i always see people like ozzy or sid barrett who seem all burned out from "alot of LSD use," or so i hear, but then i also hear about people like jon fishman from Phish who have done acid every day for a year and are fine... I really dont get if it makes you stupid, or what. please help me out if you know anything on the subject.

gilmour always said that psycadelics simply acted as a cataylst on underlying problems in
syd, and well ozzy did a shitload of other drugs as well so its hard to say it was fromt he lsd. I think it depends on how you yourself react to lsd. if you usually have good trips, then lsd should help you, but if you cant handle such a release on the unconcious then it may be unsafe. it is wise to try and solve problems in your mind before using lsd.

Ozzy isn't how he is from LSD,

Acid only brings out what was in your mind already

yes true, i only ment that acid has never been shown to itself be the cause of a mentel disorder,. For people with an unstable mind yes, it can mess with them and make some mental illness worse. But it has also been shown to help mental illness under the right conditions, it depends.

I think Ozzy has Parkinson's disease. I think I read that somewhere. And I agree he has done a whole lot of drugs and drank alot. I think he was more into drinking than anything else.
He's still awsome, I've seen him in concert before, and I'll see him again. We went to Ozzy and Rob Zombie last year.
I ain't an expert though, I've done acid twice in my life, both times in college over 15 years ago, and I don't remember what the hell happened except it was weird and funky.
