    me...
to forgive... to not be more hard on myself then i would for anyone else.

to work it. to learn to play a game. but then to throw the game out the window. (this next one is related)

to LOVE fully and to do that... you forgive. truly forgive.

to keep moving... always... to make rainbows outta rain

to give back without expecting anything

to be secure in who you are.

forgive forgive forgive! love love love! i cannot stress that enough.

    to be quiet and calm.
    to have fun. laugh.
to know you dont always have to have the answers
just be secure in your own skin and answers come to you
and when you still do not get them
    you shouldnt expect them

to be okay with the unknown

to rid yourself of all hate... EVEN the hate of being treated like shit.. it's still hate if you hate back. and that is all you.
expect nothing. but practice your ideals. it's all in you.

take criticism but realize who the source is. if someone does not know YOU and talks shit..pray for them.

let go and yes, i learned in rehab let go and let god.
you dont HAVE to do it all. you dont have to do ANYTHING. let it go. put it to a higher power and you WILL see results.
    love and believe.

dont be cynical. as much as the world sucks... prepare yourself for the worst always but be ready for miracles.

    believe and live.

    word.

I've learned how to act kindly to people without attaching any emotions to it. I've also learned that all people are good somewhere inside whether they choose to show it or not.

    most important really

when you find out who you are and love, forgive, do all the work

nothing will be perfect. you'll still have to deal with life. and your feelings are NOTHING. they are FEELINGS. to surpass them is divine. to feel like shit and not want to be loving but practice the act anyways... is HUGE. it's surpassing the ego and this life totally ... seriously you can feel like shit and be hurt and still... you have to make it go away and mourn later... how you ACT and REACT is more then pivital. you fail, you go back. you succeed, and you know the what happens. you just entered a world that is not know by many . it is hard but it's right.

I've learned "Fake it til you make it" is not only a valid life strategy but highly recommended by many successful, renouned folks including Ed Foreman and his mentor Dr. Vincent Norman Peale(Read "Think and Grow Rich" for more on the philosophy)

I also learned that I've lived the philosophy for many years before I knew what it was, and that my biggest problem in life was faking and thinking the wrong things.

That my friends is the most important thing I've learned in life. Thoughts become words, words become actions, and actions become character. In life you'll only get what you truly expect... not what you idly hope for.

Why do any work? Outsource it to others.

Then play in the Jungle and smoke weed.

adam. the second post i made .. a quote that fits... it's the same thing you said really in diff words

"to work it. to learn to play a game. but then to throw the game out the window. (this next one is related)"

you HAVE to learn the game and the way you do so is FAKING IT...
once you learn it though you have to be strong enough to throw it out and create your own game.

To keep learning, I guess. I try to trust my instincts, to be courteous to other people and open myself up to a lot of people. I'm in the process of learning fiscal responsibility right now, and I can't say that I've mastered the teaching.

    I have learned that:

every minute you spend sad and miserible is a minute you will never get back,

to never regret something that once made you laugh,

don't ever wish you had never met someone, because each and every person that come in your life is a part of who you are, whether they made a positive impact or a negative one.

I have learned that you learn from your mistakes.

I have learned what doesn't kill you makes you stronger,

and i have learned to live your life

    hell yes
whatever happened to you and no matter what who ever did
if you SURVIVE it you are a SURVIVOR and all the better.
    it's celebration really. :D

    actually about the game

the best thing i ever learned is how to play it ...how to win it... how to never forget it... cause when you stop playing ... the game dont stop. the game is all that is and you being idealistic dont make it go away. and you end up a fool. WORK IT. give it up, yes.. but transcend it... fucking win. turn the game ON people... and then when you don't need it anymore..remember it cause you'll need it later.. but let go. but never forget the fucking game. just cause you dont wanna play dont make the game stop.

When a situation (problem etc..) arises one can either do something about it and make an honest attempt at changing their situation, or accept it and not complain in doing so. Things will remain the same, assuming the individual has done nothing about their "situation," however perspective plays a very large role in whether or not that situation is deemed "good" or "bad".

Everyone is entitled to do whatever it is they see fit, so long as they are not causing harm to another.

Time doesn't exist in the way that way know it to...it's simply another label we place on the way things are, only further distorting our understanding of the Universe and causing people to worry, rush and often act inconsiderate towards others.

Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it.

Material possessions provide pleasure, but not happiness. Happiness is a constant, pleasure is temporary.

    "Ekam Sataha Vipraha Bahudha Vadanti"
"The truth is One, but different Sages call it by Different Names"

I've learned plenty more from life and am constantly learning, but really the list would be never ending so I must end it somewhere.
