Pollen and dustmites, thankfully no pets. I am also intolerant to almost all foods, hence I am mentally unstable unless I eat a strict diet of leeks, potatos, fresh meats and a few other things...i'm actually quite serious. I'm eating chocolate right now and I am manic like a 5 year old on crack.
most cats, soy, aloe vera, dogs, many soaps, macadamia nuts, nitrile, shit, all kinds of stuff. edit: oh yeah, dust mites send me into retarded asthma attacks yeah, wooden floors for me.
almonds, lobster, crabs, tuna, pollen, grass, dust, dust, dust mites, more dust. Im allergic to 4 different types of dust, that's what Im the most allergic to, and the most of the most is dust mites.
lol, I'm really sensitive to milk. I had three bowls of cereal today and my stomach has been hurting for about 6 hours now
wow, so you're allergic to nitrile? that sucks. lately almost every hospital/emergency personnel use nitrile gloves so they don't accidentally set off someone's latex allergy. what happens if you come into contact with nitrile?
crabs! oh man, that sucks, crab legs are soooo delicious. have you ever been able to eat them? what happens when you do?
i pretty much get the full range... sometimes it's no different from a mosquito bite; the worst one ever, i spent about 15 minutes in the bathroom nearly puking but unable to do it, then stumbled out, told my mom to take me to the hospital, and briefly fainted on my way to the car. luckily i had taken a benadryl before i went into the bathroom and ended up pretty much fully recovered by the time we got to the hospital, so we didn't end up going in. but usually it just consists of the stung body part swelling up to twice its normal size.
Isn't it the things that are bad for us that we crave the most!? I had a whole tub of ricotta cheese! I kind of get so sick to sticking to bland foods that sometimes I lose it and go crazy on the ones I can't eat, its totally worth it!
oh yeah, I've eaten all of those things. I only like crab in sushi, but that was pre my vegetarian conversion. Im not crazy allergic to any of the foods, I can eat them, but should not eat them constantly. I would probably get sneezy and itchy eyes, but only MAYBE. Now put me in a super dusty room or make me dust something and I'll sneeze every seconds, my eyes will get all red and watery and I'll probably need to go wash my face a couple of times to cool off.
Have any of you had to get allergy injections? My sinuses get so swollen over spring and summer that I don't sleep properly and get really depressed...winter is not too good either with being shut in with the dust mites. I am going to get monthly injections to desensitize myself for 3 years, its going to be hell but I can't wait to be able to enjoy spring again! They say the symptoms are reduced by 70% in the first year.
ahhh I see. dust has a definite effect on me - but not too too serious. are you a vegetarian who stays away from seafood too?
