If I had to pick one in particular it would probably be America, cos it's a seriously fucked up country. No real freedom, serious health issues (have you ever seen so many fat people in one country??), an extremely right wing government, plus just all that corporate culture and constant bombardment with advertising over the top consumerism. I don't think I'd like to live in Sweden, Norway or Finland, do the the lack of hours of sunshine during the winter. I wouldn't be able to handle 18 hours of darkness every day for the winter.
Any country that doesn't have free speech. Wait! That's ALL of them- except the USA and Venesuela (that's REAL freedom- and you irish ain't got it! But we do.) ---- All you anti-american bigots are completely deluded. Quit beliveing your CENSORED press. We've got far more fredom than anyone else on the planet.
Iraq... obviously. Those poor people have asshole soliders hassling them all day then have their houses raided and bombed ect... I hope Bush goes to visit real soon and they "get" him. :X
"Free speech" is a contradiction in itself. The term defines the right to say anything. Yet, as we all know, you cannot say anything. If you did, you'd be sued all the time...
i think maybe North Korea. they got a nuclear program, but not much else... or am i being the ignorant product of a biased American media?
lol they might be sweeping generalisations but they aren't to far off the mark. Well I have seen any yet in my 21 years here!
france, because it's okay to hate everyone as long as you do it with style. edit: i thought this was "country you'd most like to live in."
lol. get off it, dhs, everyone knows that someone's talking about the USA when someone says "america." and it's citizens when they say "americans." i know, north america, south america. but none of those countries on either continent have America in it's name, except for the United States of America.
I would have to say any country predominated by dessert and high temperatures. I couldn't survive in any of the nations of North Africa or the Middle East. It should be no wonder that people run around shootin' at one another as I'd have to imagine when its 120 degrees in the shade, your brain is frying to the point of lacking judgement.
There's load of lovely places you could live in Africa Adis Ababa in Ethiopia, anywhere along the coast of South Africa, Madagascar, Alexandria in Egypt or Fez or Marrakech in Morroco. Not all of Africa is poverty stricken with people dying left right and centre, although generally nowhere near as developed as most western countries some of it is lovely and the lack of developement is its main advantage.
I wouldnt want to live in China. I dont like chinese food and thats almost all they serve there I am sure.
Have you told that to your president? He doesn't seem to know that yet. Anyway... I wouldn't like to live in Iceland, because it's so far away from everything and also, because the plane tickets are so friggin' expensive to and from there.
