Or do you? During this transition of seasons, the coldest and darkest part of the year, what do you choose to celebrate? We do solstice because its beautiful and a natural transition of the Earth. And we do Christmas because that is what I grew up with They all feel magical and exciting to me. Perhaps its the meaning I have given them.....but I love to celebrate.
You could not possibly understand the implications of this even, silly human. Do not even try to conceptualize it in your puny little mind.
I don't "celebrate" anything, especially anything concerning religion. I get together with my family, eat, drink and have a good time, but that's it.
christmas. and december, in the northern hemisphere, is the darkest part of the year, but not the coldest. as the days begin to grow longer again it keeps getting colder as well. the coldest part of the year is january and february
christmas for mom and dad, for it's useless waist of money which is obligatedly spent on your loved ones to show how much u care/just want them to shut up.
I hate any form of celebration whatsoever with a passion unmatched through the far corners o' the earth.
