I teach parenting programs
how do you feel it adds to or detracts from who you are?
Totally adds to it, I can be a "cleaned up" version of myself. I can identify with the residents and have lots and lots of knowledge and life experience to lend tons of emotional support and encouragement.
where did you educate or are you educating yourself?
I took a course at college which gave me a diploma in early childhood education... basically all about child development, esp. brain development, attachement, psycology, and guiding children. I have all sorts of experience in working with special needs children, in the inner city, prgram development, and with Aboriginal people.
where do you see yourself in 10 years?
same place maybe. thinner though.
how do you define success?
health and happiness.
I want to travel more. If I could travel comfortably I'd be happy.

I am always educating myself. I don't depend on others to educate me.

Forced labor camp or dead if the enemies of freedom are not defeated (haha... how morbid of me)

The ability to think for oneself and be a sentient individual.

I'm a campaigns and advocacy assistant manager in a non-governmental organization.

how do you feel it adds to or detracts from who you are?
I dunno... I'm doing what I've wanted to do for a long time, I'm happy... my job is very me if that makes sense.

where did you educate or are you educating yourself?
I went to uni, got a BA in anthropology and development studies. This autumn I'm quitting my job and going to grad school to do MA in development and human rights.

where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I hope I'll be working for a human rights organization like amnesty or human rights watch for example, maybe working on a PhD too.

how do you define success?
I feel like I've successed when I feel happy and content.

Neither.

A bit of both, mostly self-educating though.

I have absolutely no clue. Could be under the ground, could be in the Netherlands, could be in India, could be in Argentina, could be anywhere.
Could be married, could be divorced, could have a family of 10, could have no family. Could be a multi-millionair, could be broke as a street dog.

how do you define success?
Succes is when you can sit back, relax and enjoy life.

 

what's your job? right now, i'm a senior supervisor at a sports camp for inner city youth, aged 7-14
how do you feel it adds to or detracts from who you are? it adds to who i am....i love sports, i love working with kids, i get to coach...it encompasses everythign i love to do
where did you educate or are you educating yourself? i went to norwich university...but i educate myself by reading lots or training information (still have lots and lots to learn)

Not really. I am a hospital pharmacy tech, so I deal mostly with IV-type drugs. Most of the pills I handle are pain meds. Sometimes I handle psych meds, but not that often.
