what do you think about Lance Armstrong's admission about his lying?

He has finally admitted to lying about his contentions that he never doped. I'm wondering if we can believe what he is now saying. He might be lying about his lying.

Others have said that Lance only lies when he is trying to show others how honest he is.

 

Another overrated, overpaid athlete far too many people care about.

 

Should be in prison not on Oprah.

 

Lance (Enhance) has a slew of potential lawsuits against him by people who want their money back. He may have cut some sort of back-door deal with the USADA as a means to try to minimize his financial losses.

There's also potential criminal issues. Look what happened to Roger Clemens. He had to testify to the U.S. Congress and was later charged with perjury. He took a gamble by turning down a plea bargain. He went to trial twice on the criminal charge but got lucky with a hung jury and then an acquittal.

 

At least he had the BALL to come forward.

Yeah, but why? To cut his financial losses when he ran out of all other options?

To repent so that he can continue to compete in cycling events?

Because he's really a nice guy underneath even though he cheated all those years?

 

I think he was an idiot to agree to this interview with the great and powerful wizard, Oprah...since this is not a discussion of what we think of O, I'll leave it at that.

 

I'm just pissed off because I hated the dude for no good reason and now when I hate the guy, others will join in, and they have a good reason, and dammit, that just messes up my whole purpose.

 

I never agreed with tax payers money used to sponsor his team. I want my money back, the big fat cheater.

I really couldn't care less about Lance Armstrong. People looked up to this guy for years because he was such a strong and great athlete. It's sad now, because it was all a farce.

I think it's sad that such a great sporting record turned out to be literally too good to be true.

I don't know why he's made this confession now, but his reputation was already in tatters,
so I don't think he's going to achieve much by it.

 

Its not like I ever really followed him or anything, but my heart is broken for those that did look up to him.

He seemed like such a decent dude until this. I mean the guy beat cancer then biked like no one's business...

You know, now, that Livestrong is going to die because of this. And its a shame that a cancer organization is going to go down because he is a fucking turd...

 

so, hes into smoking crack with oprah now, .. what do you want me to do, give him a medal?..

 

Sad to see his career end this way. All the years he did not dope will now be over shadowed by having done so.

It stopped being about the sport and became ego.....never works.
