What do you think about prostitution?

Do you think it should be illegal? It is widely accepted as the world's oldest profession. Personally, I believe that a woman (or a man) has every right to sell their services. These busts (no pun intended) are absurd to me. You can't stop prostitution, it will just go into hiding.

So, any thoughts?

I don't feel much differently about it than prostitution. If it makes ya money, and it's safe, go for it.

 

There is nothing wrong with that..I personally own a porn business and my girls make a lot of money by selling pictures.

Its like selling art..people just down size it because of what the buyer does with the pictures lol

especially if someone is particularly talented. Brothels vs street walkers? I think that if you have a madame and an in house nurse you could help prevent a lot of diseases too. make it safer, more customers, ask to see the customers disease free documents.

If it were legal, it would be a lucrative business. You could offer benefits, and schooling.

I'm all for regulated prostitution. I have not better way to drop a few thousand dollars.

It was legalised here in NZ a few years ago, as long as the girl is old enough. Only restriction is youre not allowed to operate a brothel in a residential area.


I'd never hire one myself, but having it against the law to do so is just silly.

 

My thoughts: I've done it, it's a great service. If they wanna do it, they're not harming anyone, infact quite the opposite. Follow the Netherlands approach is what i say.

i think it should be legal, but you always hear nasty stories about prostitution and thats what puts a bad name on it.
drugs like heroin and meth and shit, prostitutes murdered by psychos, underage girls trying to make money to take care of her kid.. thats what gives prostitution a bad name, if you could get rid of all those things then i think people wold accept it more and it could be legal.

 

I definitely think it should be legalized. That would help stop all the nasty stories hippieatheart is talking about. It's certainly never going to go away, so why not try to make it safer and healthier for everyone involved?
