What do you think of youtube removing "Drug-related" material?

I mean It kinda made me think, whats next to be censored?
If they keep up censoredship it will lose the reason it great, people hosted what ever they want.

Actually it is a very small but highly vocal minority of muslims that are causing youtube to ban such videos.
they seem to have taken it upon themselves to imply moral authority over what internet companies can provide, rather than just deciding not to view the site.
It is a well known and very well documented fact that 99% of such videos are requested to be banned by a voracious muslim group in youtube

Actually it was a change of the guideline page, and it took affect on not only drug related material, but underange drinking, animal cruelty, and bomb making. The choice was decided after deciding they were going to enforce there rules of "nothing bad" more seriously. There were request from alot of various groups, and it is not "known" that this is 99% because of the muslims. Nor is this even a fair statistic. It was discussed openly on G4. Do a bit more research.

The problem is, some organizations with public Internet access are forced to block Youtube with a webfilter. If YouTube was a bit cleaner, more organizations would be willing to unblock them.

YouTube is trying to please everyone, but that's not entirely possible.

Acutally I did. However, it should be said that I posted for people opinions not someone to tell me what to do.

Youtube doesn't allow sexual content. Why is it ok to allow drug related crap and not sex?

 

One is, by law, enforced to be only shown to the people above the age fo 18 and the other dosn't have a legal age limit. Or because Youtube, was for all intents and purposes a Video Hosting company, with very mild adult policy; and that's what made it fun.
