What are some of your childrens favorite activities. What are some of their favorite songs, t.v. shows, movies, ect.? I don't really let my children watch a whole lot of T.V., but my son really like to watch cailou (did I spell that right). I think his favorite CD is an album called not for kids only by Jerry Garcia and David Grisman. As far as activities, he's just like me, he like's being out in nature running around, climbing little trees, canoeing, camping........

My son LOVES the Beatles and will request songs now in the car and has even swiped some of my CDs. He is 5 years old and I think it is because he has been exposed to music since birth. As for TV, he likes Oswald and Little Bill. He loves being outside with friends and getting as dirty as possible. My baby girl does not know much TV, except for what her brother watches. She is already starting to sing along to his music LOL. She's 18 months so her favorite thing to do is explore and run away from Mama.
I have three children, 9, 12 and 15. My nine year old daughter (who is unschooled), loves writing stories, playing on stardoll.com, playing soccer, coming up with her own science experiments, astronomy and listening to music. My twelve year old daughter (also unschooled) loves reading (a lot!), watching movies, riding horses, motocross and playing with makeup. My fifteen year old son likes looking at girls. He also likes building model cars, nascar, yugioh, playstation and reading.
My son likes Not For Kids Only. He identifies himself as a deadhead. But his favorite song is The End of the World As We Know It. He asks for it everytime we go in daddy's truck. He also likes Pete Seegar. His favorite tv shows are MasterBlasters and Bindy the Jungle Girl. And the Simpsons. He loves anything to do with space, astronauts, and rocketry. He builds and launches rockets on a regular basis. But he also loves knights and sword play. We are relaxed homeschoolers and he loves hanging out with his homeschool buddies. Kathi
My three year old likes to dance to the thriller video. He's also an asshole if he doesn't get his seseme street on.
Moire likes Fraggle Rock, baby dolls, dancing, cheese, chocolate, and using her parents as a playground.
My DD (8) loves talking her brother into having tea parties with her, cooking in the kitchen, (real OR pretend) reading books about princesses or talking animals, playing her recorder or little keyboard, playing on Webkinz, and playing in the yard - especially in her special garden area. We finally disconnected our satellite TV, but she enjoyed watching Mythbusters, Meerkat Manor, and Jane & the Dragon. DS (12) lives for the X-box. (sigh) He is also a certified bookworm, and enjoys building with legos, checking out ANYTHING under his microscope, teasing his sister, and... running around the backyard whacking at tall weeds with a stick. (shrugs) His favorite TV shows were Red Green, Mythbusters and Most Extreme. As a family we go on nature hikes, camp, garden, frequent the science museum & are members of the state historical society, and have a weekly movie-night... the kids are equal partners in choosing what fun-thing we will be doing for the night/weekend. love, mom
You know what's a lot of fun? Taking the kids "fairy" hunting. You go out there with a little jar during the summer, and you ever see those tiny little white bugs that jump? I call those the fairies, and then I call the grasshoppers fairy kings, we don't keep them but the kids have a lot of fun chasing them. I also made "monster meals" which were (i dunno if your vegetarian or not but heres what i did) I used a chicken leg for the nose, olives for the eyes and smiley face, and then I used mashed potatoes for the actual face, it was fun. Then we watched the movie "the monsters"
that wee game...i cant wait til i buy them the horse race....haha...they beat me at tennis but i'll show 'em. nerrhhhhh
My son Jack (almost 3) loves taking baths, watching old Disney (Mickey, Figaro, Pluto etc) Popeye cartoons. He loves chasing our cat, running like a wild animal outside in the grass, playing on swings and eating pizza Also seems to love talking back and growling like a monster, he think's he scares me
He also loves Monkey Jungle, cheerios, cookies and pretending he's a giant. Ohh and dont forget about Thomas and cars
