What is it like? Why is it so appealing? I ask because I never have and I'm curious, but not enough to actually toke.
It's pretty hard to put to words. Just a relaxing, peaceful feeling. You really can't describe it. It's like trying to tell someone who's never had chocolate what it tastes like, you just gotta try it! (i think that's from pulp fiction. or something. it's from something)
^true(fondfarewell, but TNS, too ) it also has a lot to do with surroundings and type of weed you are smokin
Fun, funny, relaxing, thought provoking, experience enhancing, umm.. warm and fuzzy and time warping =D
Haha great bit. Katt williams is great. i don't know what im gonna do with this light bill!.. just hit the blunt one time and see if it don't change the perception of your life!.. fuck them lights! i've been waiting to light these candles!
16 is a great time to slowly start, personally I am happy I tried smoking for the first time at 14. I think it has provided much more positive than negative experiences in my life as well as I feel marijuana has played a major role in shaping me into who I am today by teaching me about real life through experience. I also think marijuana has changed my perspective on life to a much more positive and stoned outlook If you want to know, just try OP
being high cannot be put into words.. because it's different for each individual.. it's best experienced rather than talked about
I want to be able to tell my kids when I have kids, that I made it through life without smoking or doing drugs and that it really isn't that hard of a thing to avoid doing.
but then they will just ask why? and are you going to be able to say with a straight face that all drugs are bad with no good?.. there is nothing wrong with experimenting
The fact is, EVERYONE uses drugs. Not all of us use illegal drugs, but we all use drugs. Many of the foods/beverages we all consume everyday are worse for our bodies than marijuana is. Hell, you can actually die from drinking too much water too quickly(water intoxication), but it's impossible to overdose on marijuana. Even turkey has L-tryptophan in it, which makes many people very sleepy. So basically, if you tell your kids that you made it through life without using drugs, then you'll be lying to them.
That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. You want to tell your kids that you were afraid to figure out something as safe as pot for yourself? Let me guess, you drink caffeine products and aren't going to include alcohol in this list of 'drugs'? TopNotchStoner knows his shit. By the textbook definition of 'drugs' (something that is consumed through inhalation, ingestion, absorbtion or other contact that alters the body and brain chemistry): air, water, and food are all drugs. "Drugs" is just the bullshit label society and the government use to tell you what is forbidden, and stop you from choosing for yourself.
Yeah man, caffeine is much more harmful for the body than marijuana is, and alcohol is probably the most dangerous drug in existance.
word...i think often times the drugs that are scheduled substances are far more useful than just "to have fun" as well. i wouldnt say each time i smoke pot i get some crazy enlightenment and am graced with knowledge...but i feel that if i had never smoked, i would have missed out on a lot of knowledge that can't be learned through a book or reading shit online...it gives you insight for things that can't really be spoken about not all "drugs" are bad either. THC can be abused to an extent, but it isn't like someone becomes a fiend or a useless turd because of it...cannabis, if anything, is a potentiator of whatever behavior/mindset you so choose to have. my parents did drugs, my father still smokes every day and he is one of the hardest workers i know. he is an overall good guy too...and he goes to church every sunday lol...
